i love the outcome. I'm still wishing they were a BIT higher but overall I'm super proud of myself. I put them up ALL by myself and without having any breakdowns, minimal cussing and nothing was broke:)
Unfortunately the wall behind those photos didn't make it out unscathed. Before we move...there will be putty and painting;)
BUT I DID IT!!!!!
now the fun part - filling those frames. So far I've got some goofy ones in there of me and Jacob and a horse sketch that my mom did when she was in High School. It already looks great. I'm thinking I'll stick with black & white and sepia toned photos.
just imagine what I could do with MORE money and more ambition:)
i also hung some older picture frames that I had in the basement for a LONG, longgggg time and it was nice to find a place for them in the kitchen. I shifted the vintage clock I have to a new spot and everything now has a nice new place!
soon I'll fix the problem with that cord...not liking it hanging like that BUT the fact that the frames almost perfectly match the kitchen cabinets make up for that!
PS. Me and Jacob are heading to a Flea Market tomorrow and I could NOT be a happier camper right now...well, some wine would make me THE happiest camper right now;
