my hope for a family.

so there are times when having kids isn't exactly what I think we have in mind for our future and then there are other times, like when I stumble upon a family like THIS (to sum it up: the parents are uber cool and their weekend consisted of some concerts WITH the kids and a baby with awesome head phones...goes to show that you can immerse your children in things that you love) that I think there's no way we can't have kids because I want to be great parents. The kinda parents WE want to be: laid back, super cool, hippy and fun and adventurous, consistant....

i guess there's something to be said about being yourself, if yourself is a good person and having your kids witness that and take it in and in return...hopefully become good people too:)

side note: saw that sign in the background - Hippies Use Backdoor, No Exceptions - and now I must have it. MUST.

check out a description of THIS families day. I WISH this was our daysssss. Hopefully...eventually...someday....I can cut back my hours. We're talking full time down to 24 hours a week or something. Kids spend limited time in daycare and we all get to hangout!

these are the times I wish we had more money, more time, possibly lived closer to a city with more outdoor concert, flea market, antique store, coffee shop options.
