i'm going to JUMP right into this....1 year. ONE FREAKING YEAR and I'll be getting married. And actually...in one year...I will have been married for abouttttt 3 hours. HOW THE SHIATTTT?!?! I'm seriously beyond words right now.....I've got nothing.....
okay. I'm over that;) I just can't believe it. I'm happy and emotional and I think the last 14 months of engagement have been amazing (minus that crazy fight we had 2 days ago...I blame it on me having a period...not that day...but in general:). But for some reason today, being that it's one year away...it seems for real. Like NOW we're really counting down. Now we're really doing this.
i've said it before and I'll say it again and again and again. I'm the luckiest girl. Hands down. Initially we were both hesitant to get back together in February of 2009 but Jacob said when we first sat down together to eat out and 'talk'...he knew that he was ready for whatever was to come. Even me and all my crazy:) And believe me, that was a huge leap of faith on both our parts because round one was not all rainbows and adorable mini animals. It was a lot of BIG break downs and worse...weight gain due to drinkkkkinnnnnggg! AhhhhH!!!!;)
But (cue the huge smile and tears for me while I type) for some crazy reason things worked this time. Not only did they work but this life of mine...this life I have with Jacob...it's a dream come true.
and although we both agree that we feel connected, linked for life already. In 365 days I'll be staring at him and promising to be his partner in crime as long as I'm allowed.

besides loving Jacob....I got a lot more accomplished today. It was one of those days where NOTHING was going to slow me down (except that 2.5 hour nap:).
i was up at 715am and me and Mom were on the road with T and Nash by 830am to hit up a Farmer's Market in a neighboring town. It turned out to be VERY successful. For a mere $30, I was able to fill EVERY jar and bottle that occupied the basement!
It's basically an array of different flowers but I really do love the way it turned out. They don't look too 'planty'...just really thrown together and wild flower-ish. I am happy with what I see. And even better, the house is one big flower pit and will be till Saturday. The experiment will only be successful if these flowers still look good in 2 days (the test is to make sure that when we buy the flowers next year on the Wed. before the wedding, that they'll live till Sat. of the reception:).
i'll fill you in on Saturday.
