picnic with a breeze.

seeing as I have a millllion photos that are just sitting in dark folders...I figure I need to get them out for the world (aka. you 5 followers;) to see!

tonight we had a picnic with family on Jacob's side. Today was his Aunt, Linda's, Birthday and tomorrow is his mom's birthday!

Besides the wind...it was fantastic!!! Amazing food and a nice glass of wine and just being outside. Success.

The onlllllllly thing that could have been better...having my meat cut up for me in bite size chunks. Apparently, besides my excessive drinking privileges...having my meat cut up into bite size chunks, has also been taken away. What is this world coming to!?!?!?;)

UP some friendly and not so friendly lawn games. The boy gets a bittttt competitive. I think there was some awkward 'jumping' happening and some "Why dont you just go home?! that's your home! are you too good for your home?"...Love that quote:)

UP a gift for Julie's birthday...after a bit of taste testing...I approve:)

DOWN fun on the death jumper. I MEAN trampoline. Seriously. I could devote an entire post to why all the trampoline's in the entireeeee WORLD should be burned. Courts doesn't feel the same...maybe she missed Nash landing on his head/neck?! OR the fact that she encouraged us to join her in jumping from the roof of the house onto one of those back breakers in middle school. A.Hole;)

i've always loved art.com but have never gotten around to ordering anything there. I have a lot of spaces on random walls that I'd love to cover someday but I hesitate cause I'd like to use my/our own photos or artwork of family and such.

but we may want to get a few pieces to get us started and then work around them. Below are a few pieces that I really liked and how I would 'try' to make them work in our hole (aka. home:).

this is something I'd like to have just to frame. Since we will be getting a taste of Spain when we spend time over there for our honeymoon, I'd love to have a reminder of it when we come home every day. Then I could surround it with a few of our own photos from our trip.

this reminds me of Jacob. Obviously he's a meat man. So this clever print would be dedicated to him. It would have to be small in size though. I don't think I'd enjoy walking into the house to this day in and day out.

our baby will more than likely have the privilege of waking up to this face every day. And what a treat...lucky baby:)

UP you see that lip in the above picture - upper right part of the photo?! This is another odd space in the entry but what I was thinking we'd do eventually is frame all those 'homemade photo booth' photos we have printed for our guests at the wedding reception.

i plan on printing each guest, that participates in our photo booth, a copy and sending it with their Thank You Card and then I'll print an additional copy for me and Jacob and frame all of them in a long skinny frame. I think this space would be perfect for that:)

ahhhhh...when I get started on house stuff...I forget ALL about shopping for myself and clothes and shoes and such. BUT it only lasts for sooooo so long!

today is going to be justtttt a bit of randomness!


the day has already started out well. Found that busting my ass last week at work with extra hours and over time and MORE extra hours really paid off. SO much so that I will now be quitting my job to blog at night, full time...while drinking a glass of pickle juice. Yes, that's how I roll;)


no, in reality it's already gone but all to good places. I even got a Victoria's Secret bra yesterday while shopping, which I may still return. I just feel that my Victoria's Secret days may be over for a while - at least till the Semi-Annual Sale;). Just a lot to spend for something I could get at Target...and just about as good.
The day spent with Jacob and running errands, overall, was wonderful. Did some shopping, and randomness and even got into one fight while at Kohl's. I mean SERIOUSLY. I do not like being lost or feeling lost for ANY amount of time and 5 minutes did me in. I waited out by the car till numb nuts finally found me and believe me...I did not have a cute face on!!!! But we had a good laugh about how silly it is not to be able to have ANY cell phone coverage when you most need it!!! arrrrrrr.


i also got up with Jacob this morning and saw him off to work. I swept up a dead bunny sized pile of dog hair up - my lovely Friday routine - and then went bike riding with a friend. Well, I rode bike next to her while she ran 3 miles. I also tried not to sound out of breath while talking to her, even though she ran while holding up lengthy conversations with me. Damn her to hell!!!


now I'm eating obscene amounts of strawberries with fluff (marshmallow fluff w/ cream cheese - fatty?!?!? Noooo;) And then I'll be heading out to stop at each of my families homes to bother them! I LOVE Friday's!!!!

saturday was a ridiculously productive day. I woke up before 7a.m. with Jacob and saw him off to work. I proceeded to clean, take a walk, have coffee at my sisters, meet a friend for breakfast, run errands AND get in a one hour nap all before a fantastic dinner out with family and girlfriends!!!!
also fantastic is the new window my dad put in the kitchen on Friday while I was putting in an insanely long day of work. THANKS DADDIO!!!!!
we hit up the local carnival today, Sunday and had a freaking blast riding riding the tilt-a-whirl and egg beater! SERIOUSLY...those things were meant for us...we spun the shit out of them!
we also ended the day with some fishing (aka. tanning:).
