moa is a day of love:)

monday and Tuesday I was at Mall of America (MOA:). It was WONDERFUL. If you love shopping. Which I do:)

my mom, sister's Mal and Pigg and myself went over early Monday and got back Tuesday evening. It was a great time!

we do an Annual MOA Trip with our family. Which we all love and count down for:) But we moved it to the Spring because we were always going in November, thinking we'd 'Christmas Shop' and mostly just came back with emptied checking accounts and no Christmas Gifts to be seen. Eeeeek. Not good.
SO we moved it to the Spring...after tax returns...nice;) And it has really worked out much better. BUT we couldn't help but run over with a smaller group in the fall/winter cause it's just SO much fun for us and with all the Christmas decor...ah, it was festive all right:)

UP starbucks was had:)

UP/DOWN we stayed at our usual hotel and took the long walk to the pool after all the shopping on Monday. I treaded water in the pool for a while and then dipped my feet in the hot tub:)

UP not everything I find and adore at MOA can come home with me, unfortunately:( BUT I do make note of it and if I still can't get my mind off it in a few months and an occasion comes up where I may need something 'nice'...I'll come back to them:)
Both items above from Francesca's Collections.
*unable to find items online:(*

UP DSW goodies. I've been thinking flats will be great for my ever growing body...I doubt I'll be able to keep myself upright in anything with a significant heel. BUT no reason not to look festive even in a flat...and these will fit perfectly in my bag, seeing as I'll have to tromp into work wearing my winter boots:)

UP mal giving us a hat fashion show at Heritage1981:)

left: creeping around the racks...seriously...it was creepy!
right: endless forehead;)

UP me stalking some looks that I loved: black leggings with long black cardy and brown leather boots. I had a long black cardy on my Needs List but was unable to find what I was looking for.

UP IKEA had us all dreaming about the day when we get to design our own homes:)

UP every time I go to MOA I come back with, what I call, a festive sweater. This can be anything from a cute print (see below), to some animals running on it...to an adorable cardy. I found it nearly impossible to find ANYTHING that fit what I was looking for. The new trend is 'shorty tops' and it broke my heart each and every time I spied something from across the room, got to it, picking it up and realizing it wouldn't even cover my, now enormous, breasts. Annoying trends.
i did find plenty of festive pants though...and I thought long and hard about them but, in the end, decided that even I couldn't pull off 'festive pants';)

UP beautiful jewelry selection at Francesca's Collection:)

sorry about the obnoxious amount of iPhone photos...its' just SO much easier to use when running around and digging through your wallet for cash:)

MOA was, as always, an amazing time! I'm counting down the days till our Spring Trip...when I will again do massive damage to my checkbook...with no regrets:)

anddddd they're out:)

THE INVITES ARE OUTTTTT!!!

i loved everything about them.!!! We actually had to reprint them once because of an oversight but in the end...we ended up loving the reprinted version SO much better.

it was kinda a process getting them together. Hole punch. Cutting string. Tying string.

okay...that seems easy. BUT luckily I was able to get that all done in the little bit of free time I have at work:)

the process of stuffing and putting postage on the envelopes was the surprise. It took a lot more time than I thought. And because of the square envelopes...a lot more costly in postage. Oopps:)

but how cute is that freaking postage!? We had 2 different options. My favorite being the Star/Goat/Person combo:)

and the very best was the writing on the envelopes. Courts, the MOH - big sis:), did ALL the addressing on ALL the envelopes. I think the final count was just over 200 envelopes! Eeeeek. More if you add the Shower and BParty Envelopes:)

If anyone's interested in having their envelopes addressed by hand...whether that be for a wedding, event, birthday party, announcement...Courts AND Mal, are your ladies. Very affordable and I think it makes all the difference:) Let us know!:)

i've already gotten so many compliments and I love that people are loving them. Especially because we did exactly what WE wanted to do and tried to make them as much 'us' as possible and I think that came across:)

loving our wedding and loving all the planning that's come with it:)

46 Dayzzzzzz!!!!

playing grown up.

me and Jacob love food but do we get groceries!? Nope. And so in turn...us food lova's NEVER have freaking food in the house. It's seriously ridiculous. How do we eat, you wonder?! Well...isn't that what a big family, who lives within blocks of each other, for?! Yes. Exactly what they're for. And if you play it right...you can figure out who has the best meal available...easily figure out their weekly schedules and just 'happen' to walk over aboutttt that time.

"hey....what you guys...oh, shit..are we interrupting dinner!? well...i'm not superrrr hungry (total lie...haven't ate since the pot luck at work - yes, the one that wasn't for anyone I'd ever met or heard of but they looked nice and I'm not above hugging complete strangers for food;) but it looks great..so sure!"

POINT: dinner served.

POINTTTTT: they are on to me and have forced me to go grocery shopping. Damn IT.

UP/DOWN mal does NOT fuck around. This thing called Grocery Shopping. She owns it. She knows it. It bows down to her. I mean...there are lists involved.

UP made me want to vacation to Italy:) Yes...this trip included a lot of daydreaming...and confusion for me.

UP a mini thing of Flour. It was adorable and after a long discussion, we came to the conclusion that it would be MORE than worth the money spent to purchase ONLY mini items next time and have them all sitting on the counter when Jacob gets home. I feel like this would come as no shock to him...but seriously. MINI!!!!

UP while mal was busy crunching numbers (my numbers;) I figured I'd meander over to the, much neglected, alcohol section. I've never had Red Stripes Light...but it was teeny and as you can see...would have to wait till next time. Till my mini grocery shopping trip:)

over all, Jacob said I did a good job! I have yet to tell him that I still have no clue how to combine anything that we bought into an actual meal...

i'm going to make such a poor wife;)

25 years young.

HAPPPPPPPYYYYY Birthday to my youngest sister. The one who:
- is funny. VERY very funny.
SO funny that my fiance admits that she is actually more funny than me. Uncool.;)

pal, I'm glad mom didn't have a boy. Maybe he too, would have been funny and he may have still had your snaggle tooth. But he still wouldn't have pulled it off as well as you do;)

below is our plan for Saturday night:) Dane Cook is funny. Funny like Mal:)

kid balls.

literally.

he was helping mom, Mal, get a diaper and at one point we got the full-on shizzle in our faces. NO lie. We couldn't look away. I've never seen ANYTHING naked crawl up the side of a dresser and I'm afraid it wasn't as cool as I thought it'd be;)

this was the most tasteful photo I could post...most definitely not the most funny...but tasteful:)
