this is a trend that could have easily passed by without a tear from me. BUT then I ran into this pair and something inside me stirred;) Mayyyyybeeee. JUST maybeeee I need an Oxford???;)

at this point...the price ($110) is keeping me from doing anything about this little crush. But I'm still pondering the idea of what I'd do with these shoes in my closet...besides love them and kiss them and pet them;)

i think my favorites are actually the winter and fall looks. I like them paired with skinny jeans! I'm definitely a flip flop girl in the summer time...so I really do think Spring and Fall/Winter are going to get these the most amount of wear!

getting there.

in 2 short hours...we'll be 3 months away from our big day. Still unbelievable that it has come so fast! And it's coming together so quickly and so perfectly. I found another gem of an Antique Store near my hometown and will probably make sure to swing in there once more before our big day...mostly cause there's a purse there that would be perfect as my 'wedding purse'. And obviously I need a 'wedding purse'...a 'wedding purse' that costs $60...eeeeeekkkk;)

POINT: i love Jacob. He makes me happier than anything ever will anddddd he goes for walks with me and that I love:)

My main pickle was how to accessorise and what to do with my feets for the wedding reception on Saturday night. As you can see, if you read the article, I included the link to my Saturday night dress. Eeeeeeek. Kinda ruined the surprise but since it's not even in the right color and obviously I'm going to be WAY more smokin' hot than that lameeee model;)....nothin's reallllly ruined;)


she came up with some really awesome ideas! I'm not in Loveeeee with the feet situation but I think I could see where I could love this but maybe some tweaking....like the shoes below!?

as many of you know...I'm a bit tall. Taller than the average lady:) SO when I spied shorty heels a while back...they got bumped up to the top of the growing list of my Wants:)

DSW is rocking about a million choices and my favorites are going to have to be the 1st and the 3rd one of the 3 below. I LOVE those sling backs!:)

AND if you thinkkkkk about it, I had planned on getting 2 pair of heels (one Ceremony, one Reception) and depending on the cost of those 2 heels, they may be near $268 combined....Okay...I'm reaching.

the pretty plain dress.

the dresses drew me in and I just HAD to do a teeny post about them.

Julie Harris Photography got some great photos of what could have seemed like an otherwise, boring, dress. BUT if you really look...I think it's gorgeous. Great detail and love the matching belt with the neckline...just a great dress that I almost overlooked!

i also took note of how cute the color block dresses are on the brides maids. Besides the fact that they are in some of my favvvvorite colors - Black and Gray - I think they also went with some super affordable heels....those looked very familiar to me cause I think I have the same pair from Target:)

this wedding found on Style Me Pretty and photographed by Jeffery and Julie Woods is precious?! Fantastic? Perfection?! (PS. Still having a hard time coming up with new words. Arg. And Precious?! Creepy.)!

Although I'm more of a hippy bride myself or at least I like to think so, I like these weddings that are completely put together....perfectly. All the details are perfect and everything comes together looking incredibly smooth and there HAS to be a wedding planner in the back ground stressing because the bride looks as if she's been doing NOTHING but shoe shopping since the engagement!!!!

me loves shoes and after this group of photos...me's loving shoe photos THAT much more. As if there weren't already a huge amount of stress on finding the perfect pair (or pairs;) of shoes (and when I say stress, don't feel bad...this stress is the most fun stress about a wedding!!!:) now I must find THE perfect shoes for the dress and me AND for photos!!!

pictures like this remind me of Jacob. I just love us! Yepppppp. I do. I love that kid and I love the fact that when I texted him "Honeyyyyyy...Bring grapes and your hot body homeeee. NOW." at 1058p.m. last night (he was off playing with his friends!), he showed up...at 1130p.m. - grrrr...but wasn't empty handed and so at 1145p.m. we sat in bed eating grapes and laughing.

Aldo has been enough to handle up to this point and it seems that all the heels I find are coming in prettttty high in price....when I shouldddd be finding heels around $85, I'm finding ones that I LOVE around $185-$385...FRICK!

i naively thought that Aldo would be my only weakness when it comes to shoes, boots, heels...any feet product. BUT I was wrong. Where ever they are sold...those are dangerous places for me to be.

we're nearing the 11 month mark of the wedding countdown and with that comes a day with the ladies to try on some dresses - although I've already decided on having it made and so for a mere $200 I'll have my vision come to life:) - but I'm ready to try some on to have that experience and then call this dress shopping deal a day!

and I'm sure I should be waiting till I have an actual dress to be buying heels...but these are too pretty not to drool over!

i started this post with all the kiddies in mind. I now have 7 nieces and nephews and another arriving in December. That's a lot of sneakers! But how cute would all the little ones look in converses!??! Yes, I agree....SUPER cute!

But I'm excited that Jacob's rolling with the fatties - his little skater shoes - cause those are not quite as overdone and that's just him. So he must!

and the kiddo's wearing converses!!?!? Almost has to be done. Especially the girls....A and Lia would look freaking ridiculous in some cute dresses and converses. And by ridiculous, I mean THE cutest EVER!
