all in the details:)

holy lord. I'm not sure where to start.

first off. I love Jacob a bit more every day. Since this wedding...I've fallen in love with him more. Tomorrow we will have been married one week. The fastest amount of time that's passed since we got engaged. Sad, really:( But in that time...I've realized it's only going to get that much better from here on out and I truly believe that if you start where we're starting...................awful babies won't ruin that;)

POINT: things are good. The wedding was beyondddd amazing and I'm going to give you a headache with the amount of random wedding posts I post over the next few weeks (or months:)

enjoy!
UP/DOWN we got a handful of Star Wars pokes to put in the cupcakes as well as a ton of buttons. One of my favorite parts of the wedding was how much people commented on our details and not only that...but how much the details were 'US':)

UP/DOWN most details were discovered on Etsy (LOVE). Including this pretty bracelet I wore on Saturday night for the Reception.

UP/DOWN our pencil favors with "the smith's" and "i love you more than beef" inscribed on them. We used them for the guest book also. We have an over abundance of pencils left over, so we've decided Courts won't buy school pencils for the kids for the next few years;)

UP/DOWN the flowers were SO beautiful. And only $30-ish from a local Farmer's Market. They turned out perfectly! And a HUGE thanks to Pigg for doing the majority of the arrangements!!:)

UP/DOWN i loved these straws SO. And then I ordered them. And then I realized I had no where to use them. SO we must have a party in our future that require these festive straws:)

remember above when I was full of all that love shiat?! Welllllll...it's 844PM and I have not ate supper yet and Jacob's not answering his phone and the dog's actually looking incredibly tasty at the moment. Losing love by the second. I.NEED.FOOD. Bring it to me. Read my mind. Know that I want it and bring it. NOW.

xoxo:)

this could go either way.

we have our favors under control. We have a few things but some of those things include pencils. And not having something for our guests to write on seems like a waste! We've got all these writers...now we must make them write;)

i had NO doubt that I wanted to print up mad libs that people could fill out when taking a break from all that dancing I'm sure they'll be doing;) And then hang them somewhere that people could read them if they felt the need to pull themselves away from the bar long enough to do so. And maybe at that point reading won't even be an option....
PS. as I write this...I cringe at the thought of ANY one getting too drunk to read. I have troubles seeing far distances the way it is....alcohol plus my near sightedness - which is only still an issue because I'm too lazy to just MAKE an eye appt. and get this deal rolling!!!!! And that's odd cause the idea of some seriously fun old looking glasses excites me:)

POINT: I'm hoping to avoid any and all SUPER drunkenness. I've got names floating through my mind at this very moment.....eeeekkkk.
so I decided to google some options and come to find out...this Mad Lib thing couldddd get awkward if we don't do this right. Check out the one below (I replaced the lame - Jack and Jill names with our own to REALLY give you a realistic idea;):

Jacob and Casey should always _____ when they want to _____ each other, in order to have a ______ marriage forever....and on and on...

The Bride and the Journalist

you can see how this could go wrong...SO horribly wrong...very very quickly. Again...I have names floating through my head and those are names of people that I don't want to get 'dirty' on our Mad Libs cards...OR the dance floor for.gods.sakes!!!!

SIDE NOTE: request that the DJ NOT play Christina Aguilera's, Dirty

this is something we'll have to put a LOT more thought into and maybe sending people home with pencils...unsharpened...would be the safest way to go. For all of us...mentally and physically.

favor table.

the main reason for this post was the photo on the left. The one on the right just seemed to tag along!!! But since I'm trying to tie in the idea of the chalk boards....I love when I see them set-up in order to help guests figure out what certain things are. For Example, we can use smaller chalk boards for:

- cupcake flavors
- favors (1/ wine glasses - we'd like to have a 'wine area' where you can take AND keep a wine glass that may have something etched onto it, PS. I've slowly been collecting wine and then drinking it...so this project may not end up happening;) - 2/ CD's - we've spent many a fun and romantic and emotional night (the emotional part is 100% me:) listening to music that means something to us to burn to CD's for people...YAY!)
- drinking area
- porta potty area
- snacks area
- vintage suitcase card holder

and on and on and on:) I just love that things are starting to fall into place!

pretty ideas.

just some cute inspiration to get me through the day!

1/ we are not having the 'traditional' photo booth. MOSTLY, well...because....we can not afford it. Which is fine by both of us. BUT we still want a guest book and we still want a photo booth. SO we're doing a little set-up of our own - mentally picture: pretty cloth sheet hanging...some props, homemade chalkboard thought bubble and our own personal photographer taking the shoots!
Then we set-up a nice big book with the above instructions for the guests to sign one side and then when we get the photos developed shortly after the wedding, we attach those to our book and then send a copy with our Thank You notes, to our guests. That last part about sending a copy to the guests was all Jacob's idea! I love that he loves our wedding too:)

2/ THE cupcakes. SO we've officially decided on Cupcakes AND Cookies. The deposit is in the mail and we're good to go! Jacob came up with ANOTHER idea...yes...he can't be stopped!!!! And that is to make our little 1 year anniversary cake (the teeny cake at the top). He really wants to have that for us to eat on our anniversary. I could NOT have cared less until Jacob came up with this idea. And since he's a fabulous cook...the onlyyyy cook in this relationship...I'd be more than proud of him for making that little tasty thing!:)

my ideal.

this unbelievably awesome wedding is the WEDDING of my freaking dreams. I just can't get over it. I saw it early on in my wedding planning....but even looking back on it....those flowers, the different colored J.Crew bridesmaids dresses, her vintage dress from Vintageous....it's all just too much ME!

stamped bags:)

i HAD to add a smiley face to the title of this post...mostly cause I'm SOOO freaking excited about it. Once again...Etsy rocks my face off.
I had just recently decided on paper bags for our little welcome bags. MOSTLY cause we can't freaking afford cloth ones and who REALLY wants a cloth bag, to keep forever, with me & J's faces or our wedding date printed on the front?! Hmmm. I don't even really want one for myself.
SO we'll go paper, not super green but seriously people...recycle:) And then I'll get one of these stampers to throw our names and dates on the front of the bag (I already have one on the list for our return address.....-cut to me rubbing hands together in a very evil fashion-...everything is falling together perffffectly:)!
GOD. I could not love planning this wedding more! Yep. Not posssssible!

ETSY - Junghwa by Amy Stewart (tid bit: she's actually the sister of the designer of the garter in my previous post today...super cool and another TID: she's got some super cute and simple bracelets that almost deserve a post of their own. LOVE:)

brown baggin' it.

my most recent epiphany is to skip the whole 'cloth' bag situation for my (see how I so easily forget about J being involved in this process...dang it...!!!:) OUR wedding welcome bags! I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to be super Green and go with cloth bags for everyone but it's just realllly pushing the budget for something so unnecessary but yet SO important to us.
SO I've found these paper bag inspirations and this is SO happening! A little spray paint, a super cute logo/picture, some apples/oranges, bottle of wine and a cute little 'what's what' in the area of the ceremony!

I'm seriously chomping at the bit to start putting some of this stuff together. Yep. I will be ordering super cute paper bags online today!

teeny hands = lots of detail.

over dinner tonight with my sister P, mom & Dad and J, some HOW my wedding came up:) after much discussion it was unanimous that my nieces and nephews, with their teeny little fingers, might be the perfect answer to getting intricate bead work done on my wedding dress!
aren't they ADORABLE!!!:) Adorable little, minimum wage - paid seamstresses;)
