i came across this wedding while stalking 100 Layer Cake and it's now opened my eyes to the bride's smart/beautiful/foodie blog, Sprouted Kitchen.

the bride's sister, Stone Cold Fox, made these dresses and I absolutely ADORE them. I want them for my girls because my girls need to look identical to this!

just thinking about how it's only 257 days away and how today is Christmas and how we'll be getting married and how Jacob got me the most amazing wedding band as a surprise Christmas present and it's just a good day and here I am at work and I kinda left the house crabby cause there's no way to REALLY feel good about leaving the house at 530am on Christmas morning to go to work...KNOWING that you have to work for 4 hours and then Christmas festivities and THEN come back for another 4 hours of work later in the night.

phew.

POINT: these pretties reminded me to look at my hand and think about Jacob and be happy that everything is as it is:)

first off...introducing US;) I love this festive pictures. I LOVE the Holidayssssss!!! I love Christmas Bonus's!!!!!;)

POINT: today I'm excited about buying tickets for our honeymoon. We've noticed that prices have been around $750 per ticket to get to Spain and back. Specifically: Chicago, IL to Lisbon, Portugal and then from Barcelona, Spain to Chicago, IL.

The best part about this, besides going in general, is that we get to visit Chicago before going and hopefully get lunch with my amazing Aunt Vicki and maybeeeee make that lunch Chicago's deep dish pizza! YUM:) I can't think of any better way to start our honeymoon!!!!

as of this minute they are at $763...me and Jacob have agreed to buy them as soon as they hit $750, no matter how early that may be:)

C is for Charmed

adding pictures of this beautiful wedding because she has a somewhat bigger nose, which I can relate to, and she STILL looks gorgeous;) And also because I'm reminded that we have to meet with our photographer soon and I'd love for her to just super impose our faces into these photos because I love them that much!:)

i think it's the tint of the photos, the old, vintage look...I like artsy...I like shots that aren't necessarily 'straight on'. These look amazing!

how flipping cute is that cake topper...and the cake is actually equally as cute - reminds me of something Jacob is planning for our little cake:) And love the group shot!!!

initially this whole wedding crap was pissing me off. Maybe even marriage in general...well, when I say initially...I mean for the last 2 weeks. Surprising what things beyond your control can do to your attitude about 'forever'...

BUT frick em'...me and Jacob got this shit down...and by shit...I mean love. SO here's some shiat that finally pumped me up enough to do a wedding related post!:)

good things about today:) - which I'm actually thinking should be a weekly post. I mean...nothing more challenging than sitting in a cubby and trying to come up with things to be thankful for;)

1/ Jacob put in mounds of over time and so his check today was enough to put a smile on my face and some change in my pocket and get some progress done on that hole in the back yard - aka. pretty patio:)

2/ lunch is being delivered today by my lovey...yep. He's personally delivering tacos. YUM. And if my MOH/Prego Sister is super sweet, she might be getting a taco too:)

3/ flights are FINALLY viewable for September of 2011!!!!! HOLY SCHNIKIESSSS!!!! I'm SO beyond pumped about this. And I'm not sure exactly why because we've pushed the honeymoon back till October of 2011 because of a family wedding that we would not miss for the world....

so why you say, why am I SO excited...I have no answer for that.

BUT it's just crazy to think that we're to the point where we're watching flights, we're watching costs, this crazy honeymoon plan of ours is going to happen and that's SO freaking huge!!!!

I mean...it's SO huge and I'm SO excited that all the messages I've been entering for the nurses (here at work) today have been inappropriately marked with exclamation points and smiley faces!!!:):):)

Examples:

- possible yeast infection!!!!!!:0 (yes...the OPEN mouth....)

- baby swallowed staple:)

- mom wonders if she has pertussis but is showing no symptoms, is unsure what pertussis is and has never been exposed to pertussis...as far as she knows...because again, she knows not what pertussis is:):):):)

how are those not amazing reasons to be HAPPY today;)

POINT: I'm back to being excited and I'm back to loving the idea of a wedding and I can't wait...it will be a happy day:)

if I haven't already mentioned it...I'm beyond pumped for the wedding. BE-YOND! Only 310 days to go and then it'll be 299 and that's just crazy!!! I just can't believe it's coming SO quickly!!! I surely don't wish time to go by because I'm so in love with our lives at the moment but I can't help but be excited for what's to come!!!!:)

PS. Jacob has requested, after spying this photo over my shoulder last night, that me and Poe (our little white pup w/ the dirty eyes) somehow put our disagreements behind us and pose for this photo at some point during our wedding weekend festivities.

I agreed...but only if his eyes weren't dirty.

these photos remind me of me and Jacob. Or maybe any lovely, happy wedding does lately:)??

But there are a few similarities, like the art gallery ceremony and they had a cookie desert bar...and they're adorable guest book - pages, that were later binded to make a book, of their engagement pictures were laid out for guests to sign - we haven't exactly nailed down the Mad lib concept and when I went over it with Jacob....there were confused looks and I'm still not sure we're on the same page as far as what defines an adjective. arg.

i can't honestly say there's ANYTHING about this photo, by For You Love Me, I don't love. Yes...I'm in LOVE with this bride!!! That dress is ridiculous and the flowers and the path of flowers...and the house...and just the color of that photo in general.

great cake topper idea. We have ours, waiting patiently in one of many 'wedding tubs' in the basement but adding a sentimental picture of the 2 of us seems fitting!

it may be a ridiculous thing to be thinking about when I have cookies and cupcakes that need to be picked up....we have to run 45 min. away on the day prior to the wedding to pick up flowers and the day OF the reception to get moreeee flowers and then put them together in a pretty fashion...I haven't found a dress yet and we're less than 11 months away from WEDDING DAY...and the listtttt goes ON!

but what I really want right now is a cute picture of me in my undies on my wedding day. Yep. This is a new and possibly inappropriate request and I'm asking that of my mom and Courts. Get that shot...and I will help you get that shot...mostly by being my adorable self but a lot by buying cute undies:)

PS. Check out the photos from One Love Photo above...this wedding is SO great...in SO many ways. I just love it. And now I want to cut my hair...really cut it. SUPER short!!!:)

this wedding seems SO delicate to me. SO delicate that I feel like I'm yelling by capitalizing SO. sooooo....shhhhhh. I'm done yelling...take a look at these pretties. Don't you love how pale the photos are...that washed out quality but just beautifully done.




as I sit here...Jacob's eating dinner - I ate too much cheese earlier so no supper for me tonight, my tummy is beyond sickened by the thought of food after the cheese overload...DAMN it;) and we're listening to music on You Tube...making play lists for the wedding and I'm crying as I look at potential engagement picture inspiration and this wedding:')

PS. Courts is taking some photos of us on Sunday. I'm beyond excited!!!!!! And I'm excited for her. This is going to be the beginning of her taking pictures and I know it's going to be the beginning of some great things:)

i don't want to push my luck because Jacob is SO incredibly agreeable to taking photos with me. I mean...ANY.TIME. He'll stop and humor me. I love this about him. BUTttttt....I'm sure he'd draw the line somewhere and I think we'll start with Naked Fruit STD's (Save The Date Cards:).

i found the pictures below on Offbeat Bride - SUPER cute site...LOTS to look at. And it's funny cause this bride is actually wearing a dress that I KNOW I saved somewhere in my blog...a long, longgggg time ago. But back then I didn't know about tagging photos so god only knows where that is. But even naked...very cute couple:)

there's better than starting a long work week with a super adorable DIY wedding, found on Style Me Pretty, that seems to SCREAM Casey and Jacob:)

i love that there's a lot going on at this wedding or at least this chalkboard is trying to make you think there is! AND we will have a Photo booth. And we will have a Bar. And we will have Dessert. AND we will have Dancing....We will also have this chalkboard spelling that out for you:)

PS. Those pretty flowers were from Sam's Club. What the hell!? I've been lucky enough to find that we can get ours at a Farmer's Market for under $50. UNDER $50 for bouquets, ceremony flowers AND reception flowers. Awesome deal...but if Sam's Club can give them a run for their money....

this reminded me of Jacob's love of Guinness. I have less love for Guinness.
