HAPPY DUE DATEEEEE!!!!!

today, November 9th, 2015...is the Due Date of our 3rd baby:) This is the 2nd time I'll have reached our due date. We did with Theo as well - going 2 days late:) 

i'm feeling so good and so lucky to carry these babies all.the.way! I'm anxious but in the excited way. Not the "get this thing OUTTA ME!!!!" way;) I've got a household of Smith's - thanks Courts and family!!:) - praying hard for a healthy baby and tonight they're adding: smooth and swift delivery to that prayer:)

I really just can't wait to share the news of this healthy baby with you all and hopefully brag a bit about another completely perfect/quick/uneventful birth;) 

in other news...we don't have any ice-cream in this house - what the whaaaaa?!?!?!

oh, and I'm not going to do the whole pregnancy low-down cause nothing/nada/not a damnnnnn thing (including weight - hallelujah!!!!!!!!;) has changed since last week - see here for those details. So I'll spare you!

i'm still pregnant...I feel like a rare-albino-hippo in the pregnancy world to have made it to 39WKS. Does anyone make it to their due-date anymore? Go OVER their due date!??!?! Unheard of;) But for real...feeling very fortunate to carry these babies full-term...like full-term/due-date/2 days after due-date. Weird...and awesome:) 

someone asked me tonight if I was having a Christmas baby...insinuating that I'm small enough to have almost 2 months left?! I made-out with her;) 

HELL NO. Daysssssss bitch. Dayssssssssss;)

i'm feeling so good. And soooo sad that this pregnancy is already coming to an end. I mean...40 weeks. I can hardly wrap my mind around the fact that I'm a mom, let alone...a soon-to-be mom to THREEEEEE!!!!

by gosh, we are soooo so lucky and happy and excited for what's to come:) 

now...will my next post be a baby announcement from my Hotel Room Hospital Bed OR of me 40WKS pregnant...from home...on the couch...with a pint of ice-cream???:):)

yes...there are clothes...I've even worn things on my feet with heels...some height...I feel good and this sun and heat in November is really everything. EVERYTHINGGGG. It makes jogging pants with a top that doesn't reach the waistband and tighty-yoga pants that are now slightly see-through because they're working overtime to just stay together because they're being stretched in inappropriate ways...this November heat wave makes all that...OK. :)

13 days until D-Day!!! SO many things to get done before this baby arrives!!!!

install gutters on the house?! paint the office?! burn all photos from this computer to CD's and organize them all into folders by date?!

a LOT of irrational lists and crying going on over at the ol' Smith Residence;) Jacob pointed out that it seems I'm more stressed about birthing this baby than I had been with the previous 2. With Homer and Theo, contractions started and that moment we were getting into the car to actually head to the Hospital...THAT'S when I decided we'd made a mistake. I couldn't do it. NO!!!! But this time around, the crying and the "this can't be happeninggggg!!!!!" started about 2 weeks ago;) 

have I mentioned alllllll.theeeee.cryinggggggg;')

above all, things are going great. I feel good. A loooootttttt of that crying is due to pure happiness. We're excited about this baby and anxious for that feeling we've gotten each time our babies have arrived. The feeling that there was a spot in our lives and our hearts, intended for them, all along:)

this last week has been good. The weather, here in WI, has been very mild for the end of October...so I was able to wear a few dresses and lighter layers. All very comfy/cozy:)

Jacob and I went away for the night, this last weekend, and I had a handful of baby things at one point andddddd I put it all back - which made me look like that crazy person who wanders around the store for 25 minutes with a look on their face that says: "I need help finding something..." but I definitely didn't need help. It's that crinkled up face I make when I can't decide if $24 is too much to spend on a Christmas outfit...for a newborn...who will only wear it once...

25 minutes of my life...as well as the annoyed sales associates...that we'll never get back;)

ohhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyy gawwwwdddddddd. So I'm pregnant and gonna have a babyyyyyyyy. Out of my vaginaaaaaaaaa - hopefully;).

i've been dreaming about all things birth. Going into labor. What the baby will be. How this situation will go down. When it'll go down. Good gosh...I'm excited:):) This really never gets old!!!! I may have even had a 'talk' with Jacob the other night about how I just don't think I can be done at 4. I told him that the thought of ONLY having one more is just too sad...it doesn't feel right. I can't stand the thought of this baby being the last before THE.LAST. He may have been sleeping but I'm choosing to believe that his silence was a green light...a 'whatever you want, my heart!' 

SO pumped to be on the same page;)

this has been a good 2 weeks:) Courts has been pulling out some 'trick photography' and taking magical photos of me...the kind that make me think: "I don't look like I've already gained 45lbs AT.ALL!!!!!"

nothing to report! I am headed on our annual MOA trip - MOA - this coming weekend, so I'm sure I'll find a cute hat or sweater or somethinggggg for the baby there. But otherwise...nothing fun besides a used car-seat:) 

BUT I am planning a baby and me trip to a few stores a few weeks after the baby arrives, once we've settled in and I'm going stir-crazy:)

the emotional roller coaster that is taking Family Photos;)

courts took our photos a week or so ago and I gotta say, they're ALL my favorites;) I love the 'out-takes' just as much, if not more sometimes, than the ones that turned out perfectly posed:)

it's hard to believe this will be the last time capturing our little Family of Four:) As of today, we're ONE MONTH away from Family of Five status and we couldn't be more excited - and scared and anxious and nervous and HAPPY - ALL.THE.FEELINGS:)

i'll keep this short because there are plenty of photos to scroll through and today's To Do List is impressively long and I've got to go deal with Homer screaming in a Time Out and Theo is eating a bowl of oatmeal with her hands and that's going as well as you'd expect;)

2 things: that ass. Not sure what's happening...maybe the way I'm standing but it's weird'n me out!!! and those shoes. I meannnnnnn HEART EYES. Festive Sneakers for the win:)

we're into the 30's!!! Which seemed so far off when we were at 27 weeks...but this baby is gonna be here in the blink of an eye! 

i'm trying to come up with some sappy, heartfelt shit to write about but my daughter's throwing a fit...cause we're outside? And it's...sunny? And perfect??? Oh, the shit-show adventures to come with a sassy 3-1/2yr old and a cling-on 1-1/2 year old. Call me crazy - for real...that's what my husband calls me;) - but I know it's all gonna be amazing...even when it's sooooo not amazing...amazing;)

so in the midst of preparing for this baby's arrival...we're moving a new renter into our other house, Homer started his first year in school - #homersmithdoespreschool on IG and blog post on that to come shortly:), we'll be roofing our current home - Hallelujahhhhhh!!!!, Homer will be put under againnnn, this time for some dental work:/, and we'll be adjusting to ONE income - again...blog post to come on me up and quitting my job - HALLELUJAHHHHHH!!!!;)

so no big deal...everything is totallllyyyyy under control over here;)

Sometimes I think I look adorable when I leave the house and then someone snaps a photo of me and I'm all "who the...what the whatttttt?!?!!". I'm convinced Jacob replaced all the mirrors in the house with those trick-slimming GAP mirrors!;)

For the most part I feel great and I definitely try to pull it together for our little photo-shoots and we have a Maternity Session coming up with Courts in the next few weeks. I just do my best to stay comfy/cozy and something about being pregnant and not giving a shit really helps;)

I do have a list going that I'll be purchasing this week. It includes but is not limited to: car seat (infant for baby and a convertible for Theo), some totes for clothes, dresser, a small basket for our bedroom for the baby essentials (wipes, diapers, burp rags - why it's taken 2 co-sleeping babies for me to figure out that we should have a few things next to the bed, is beyond me;). SO...I'm comin' for you Target!!!!!!:)
