this is happeninggggg.

as you can see...it's been busy..busy. BUSY!

besides spending money on cars, a patio set and used swimming suits;) I've also been supa' busy getting this wedding to come together.

PS. the boys passport just came in the mail today. After only 2 weeks. I did not WANT to flip out on him about the passport. It needed to be done. But believe me...he's loving the fact that he can tell me 'I TOLD YOU SO!!!!'.

on to more important things...more pretty things:)

UP/DOWN the BParty Invites went out last week and I loved them. So much so that I could hardly part with them. They were adorable in every way:)

DOWN the kiddo's helped me prepare some little hearts that will serve as gifts for them, as well as a distraction:) I spray painted them with chalkboard paint and the kids have been anxious to get their creative juices flowing on these things...only 52 more days:)

what hasn't been finished yet...our invites...a day or 2 more and they'll be in the mail! Could not be more excited and anxious about having these things out of my hands and in the hands of all our amazing friends and family!!!!

2 not so amazing things happening right now:

1/ the 99 degree heat in WI and the fact that our C/A decided to take a shit on us. How typical?! And no clue if this has to do with the heat or not, but the larger than life flies are slow as shit and using my forehead as a landing strip while I'm trying to fucking blog. Seriously. Slowly come in for landing, land, walk, swat. REPEAT!

2/ most of the songs I've downloaded on iTunes to be played at our Ceremony are apparently 'illegal' and have mysteriously been replaced with the most ridiculous recording and it makes me want to kill. KILL. Much worse than the flies. MUCH. Now I have the task of searching out another free downloading service, that I have to pray won't turn out to be 'illegal' by the time the wedding gets here.

The task of re-downloading 100 songs...it stings. Bad.

did I say 2 not so amazing things?! I lied. I meant 2 not so amazing things with 17 sub levels of not so amazing things.

i'm not going to lie (and I really can't cause my sister's have the emails to prove it) but I've been a bit obsessed with finding an outfit for this BParty.

my BParty is officially 65 days away and in my over zealous fashion...I've got it prettttyyy much planned out. Just need to get around to ordering my crown (obviously;) and then all will be ready!

we're spending an afternoon and night in Milwaukee (MKE). And not just any part of MKE but The Third Ward. It's got everything I love: little cafes, bars with great personality and music, a market...with wine and margarita's available in the afternoons:) and everything within walking distance. SA-Weet!

our first stop of the night: Charlie's. It's freaking perfect for what I want for my BParty.

I'm not much of a dancing queen (although I've been known to move my body on dance floors in ways not many have seen;)...so this place is perfect. It has a completely chill and laid back vibe with amazing tunes. It'll be the perfect place to begin our night!

UP jacob and I visited Charlie's for the first time, while visiting his sister in MKE...for the first time! Thanks for introducing us to Charlie's Renee:):)

PS. i've had some great luck with dealing with Dawn, from Charlie's. She seems very upbeat and excited about the ladies and I coming down for my BParty...she even added this:

"...as for your party...FABULOUS. Would love to have you all here. When it gets closer, give me more details. We like to create a drink in the honor of the future bride!..."

for REAL YO'!??! I get my own drink?! It's like I've been waiting all my life...for this moment;)

penis-less night.

75 days till my BBBBBB-PAR-TAY!!! You betcha' bitches!

i'm not a huge fan of the 'penis' themed bparties. I'm not hinting around...Don't bring your penis necklaces or your penis topped straws or your blow-up penis to my BParty cause it won't be welcomed with opened arms. You will not find me cuddling with a life-sized penis at the end of the night...as I've said...those days are over for this lady;)

don't get me wrong! Love looking at pictures of the ladies that go that route! They all look like they're having a blast and the penis usually has a name by the end of the night and it's a wonDEful time;). But I'll pass.

I'm 28 and in 75 days...I'll be this 28...plus another 75 days...

REGARDLESSSSSS. I have a strict NO PENIS RULE!!!;)

UP there can be cussing. I'm not 100% class:) And, so yeah...this $14 banner from Urban Outfitters...hands down...has to be there:)

no. I haven't forgotten that I'm getting married in LESS than 4 months. HOLY SHIT! Jacob and I just got back from a walk and were talking about how his next weekend off (in JULY..arg) will most likely be when he plans his BParty. Holy CRAP!

PS. It's going to be pretty low key: cookout, paint balling and more cooking out and moderate drinking for my boy cause he's not no drinker. This I love...cause me loves me a drink and so yeah. Room for one drinker. That is I;)

POINT: Boy BParty means a wedding is nearing. WHATTT?!?!?!! Still feels like this day is not happening and how has the time passed so quickly!?!?!

UP what's that raised floor for?! JUST for the band...is that a raised dance floor?! Brainstorming what we should have at our reception. I would LOVE for the weather to cooperate and allow us to have our dance floor outside but I don't want peeps tippin' right off the edge while bustin' a move...hmmm

oh, my lord. I know, I knowwww. I do realize I have 129 days (who's counting...;) till the BParty but it has yet to stop me from doing a butt load of Internet browsing regarding the topic!!

keep in mind as I drag you through my long thought process:

the theme of the Bparty is me wearing white and all the ladies wearing some variation of pink or red.

okay...that doesn't really seem 'theme-like' to me...but it is what I want. And so maybe the theme is me getting what I want!;)

UP i love that pleated dress with these cutttttte heels. We got the white I am aiming for and these super adorably vintage looking heels to tie in with my 'theme'!

UP okay...one of my girls should most definitely jump on this amazing outfit. Great stuff happening here and these heels are amazing!!! I'm actually kinda feeling Courts on this one...but how does one turn this dress into a baby feeding station!?;)

UP of course that super detailed shoulder dress is Sold Out. But it's still a great look and I want those heels. Short heels are hard to come by in my closet and seeing as Jacob's the same height...I need to add shorty heels. SOON!

UP i think I just love the heels. I'd really have to order these and try them on and see if I could pull them off but I love the idea of a simple dress and then having some super fun feets happening. And if I haven't mentioned before, I have great toes. They're perfectly lined and were meant to live in warm temperatures all year round. Poor toes...WI is no good for you;(
