me likes: black bedazzled boot

i'm not sure that's what the kids are calling them these days...but these are a pair of boots that I've liked for some time now. I actually couldn't even make up one good reason why I need these boots...except that my closet is currently a family of 5 - heels, flats, sandals, wedges and boots. We'd like to expand that family and bring in a middlemiddle child (yes...that's a thing:)
The bad ass (not bad enough to get pregnant when she's 17 - Courtsssss;)
The smoker (she'll quit when she's 23;)
The rule breaker (and by rule breaker...we mean she dates one idiot but ends up marrying a guy almostttt as amazing as her dad:).

closet. Meet your new favorite child (cause you know they all have one;):

the black bedazzled boot.

below are 2 super cute examples, from Polyvore, of how you could make these boots work:)

Chanel

Medium roast

keep in mind that it's SPRING! You may not believe me if you looked out your windows - if you are a WI resident:/ BUT Spring means no one but me is buying boots. SO buy boots. They're on sale. Most likely not in your size. That will piss you off. Try anyways;)

want it saturday.

i've been in love with the Nanette boot for quite some time. I really wanted them for this Spring. SO...I want them right now! But of course, they're sold out...everyyyyyy where!

then I found the Silas boot. Amazing as well. Guess what....SOLD OUT. God damnnnnn!!! Can't a girl - one that shouldn't be spending money but has a birthday coming up in 35 days, which means I should get what I want...when I want it - catch a break!??!?!!? Damn!!!!;)

below are a few booties that I've found that COULD replace the ones I've had my heart set on...

as you can see...I have my hands full with options:) My favorites, found through DSW, were the Diba Elyse, Fantasy Western and the Chana. All pretty cute and would be great options during Fall, Winter AND Spring:)

loving the above inspiration, found through Polyvore. Great ways to make the booties work with both jeans/skinnies or a dress!!!!

i may have to bump these booties up from the ol' Wants List to the, more current - and more likely to be purchased - Birthday List;)

want it sunday.

jacob and I had previously agreed not to exchange Christmas presents this year. But now I've found these boots and I need them and so now I'll be doing my best to convince him that maybe it'd be more 'Christmas-y' if we were both allowed to spend $125 on ourselves and wrap them and put them under the tree and love them forever and evaaaaaa'.:)

i'll report back on his answer:)

want it friday.

boots, boots, boots...apples and bananasssss:)

at the moment I'm ready to shop my FACE OFFFFFF! Such an urge and in my experience...it's usually not good for me to put something like this off. Pushing down the urge only gets us a SUPER wasted Casey, who throws small toys at newborns (I totallllyyyy didn't see that newborn laying there...who lays in the middle of a floor like that?!...fast forward to present day and you have a girl - ME - who has been on drinking restrictions forrrrrrr 9 months...going strong...pat.on.back:):);).
Oh, wait...we're talking about shopping, right!?

BUT these are 2 very similar habits. The drinking thing I have under control. The shopping thing on the other hand...is a learning process. Recently I've become very familiar with the local Post Man. I make many a online purchase and I make MANY a return. So...good...and bad:) BUT a step in the right direction (in my opinion:).

POINT: i've found that most things I USED to do in excess (drinking...crying...shoppinggg...sometimes in that exact order;) are much better kept in check when I get to do them in moderation:)

Minnetonka - Fringed Tall Boot $90 - must have these in black. Will have these in black and I believe Nordstrom's has free shipping...will have.

I WANT.

Aldo - Farmar $180 - and in my experience...NEVER...I repeat...NEVER buy new at Aldo. It will go on sale within 3 months of your full priced purchase. These...I will wait it out for:)

I WANT.

and then I should be good for boots. Like...literally...Good. My closet could not hold more boots after I add these 2 boots.

forget me. not.

i was in need of a wedding fix and found it on Forget Me Knot Weddings....bare with me:)

UP/DOWN a beauTiful dress. I mean...I may have actually tried this dress on and secretly took a sweaty picture in the dressing room wearing this dress. I did not get this dress. It's still beauTiful. I'm okay with that;)

UP the most adorable cupcake, topped with the ring of ALL rings and a bride with gorgeous hair and a dress with a back to match!

DOWN i'm SO anxious to have Courts and Mom take more love photos of me and Jacob. I can imagine he's not quitttte as excited as me...close...but not quite;)
but the following pics only get me MORE excited to think out outfits for me to wear for this next photo shoot:)

UP...and now I want boots. Those exact boots and tights. Those exact tights with those boots. And then some love photos in that exact look.

UP/DOWN okay...I am a huge sucker for see through shirts. It's VERY SJP if you ask me....some may think it's a bit risk-ay and I'm really not doing it to attract the 'wrong' kinda attention. I just like a good bra peek!!!
POINT: great top with great detail and if it were any sort of appropriate to have my bra make an appearance in my cubby..I'd be wearing this outfit to work tomorrow!

and now I'm fixed:)

rocket dog $99

asos $124.13

i'm still a huge fan of Rocket Dogs, as are all the girls in my immediate family....

POINT: I'm still in love with these wedges and now to decide on which color??!?!!?
Dark or Light, Light or Dark...Dark?! Light?!?
And how much I can spend and when I can spend it. Hmmmmm?!?!?!

etsy tuesday.

etsy is usually the reason why I leave work at the end of an 8 hour day in a complete panic because I can't remember doing ANYTHING!!! Eeeeeeek:)

totally worth it to find these gems though:)

perfect little somethin' somethin' for me to be wearing with my white dress during our wedding festivities!
i've always had a thing for knee highs and although I shouldn't be feeling like $98 is tooooo much, I'm feeling that way. Got they're great though!
eight point design $22
i need a tote to tote my Mac around in. This could be it:)

warm and fozzzzy.

the new mission: winter boots.
Where I work they have a shortage of snow shovelers and so sometimesssss when I get here before the sun comes up, there's no path and if there had ever been a path to the door, it's now covered with 3 feet of snow.
I think my work also has a shortage of heat. And so unless I want to sit in my cubby ALL day feeling like I've just gone for an ice cold dip....I need to find a way to get TO the building without being drenched to the knees!
ASOS $151.65

these are obviously a MUST. They aren't completely realistic for walking on winter nights or for trekking my way into work in the wee hours of the morning. BUT for going out...eating dinner with my honey near a fire at a nice restaurant...playing Rummy500 on a winter night and wearing them just cause they're SO freaking pretty - yes, for those occasions they're perfect and worth every bit of the $151.65 (plus shipping:).
PS. They're ROCKET DOGS....and we (me and my sisters) LOVE us some ROCKET DOGS!!!!

adorable...cute details and price is right. BUT the Ugg look has been done. AND done. Wait....AND DONE!

obviously I'd be buying these to win my dad's approval. Sorels. And he'd spot these coming a mile away and possibly love me more:) BUT besides that...I love them. They'd actually be PERFECT for getting around town when needed and for my morning walk into work. Man...they'd look SO cute hanging out in my cubby with me!!!

sploosh shoes $100-ish

these are simple and adorable and AS much as I love those freaking Sorels and having my dad love me most;)...I might have to throw all that out the window for these puppies! They are sleek and good looking and I think they look like something I could take nightly winter walks in and STILL get to the building super dry:)

my girl crush.

man, oh man. She's soooo pretty.

today is my Monday, seeing as I was off sick yesterday. Arg. Pissed, irritated...hating spending days home from work when I actually feel too shitty do do anything! arg. And wasting vacation time on Actually beinggggg sick pisses me off. I'd rather be 'sick' but actually having a productive start to the day, a lazy middle of the day and end it with guilt free tanning on the beach. But nooooo, I actually do have to feel like shit and then continue recovering today....but here at work, not dressed in anything nearly as cute as J.Aniston. Poo:(

but in my search to find something closely resembling her outfit...I found these amazing boots. Not insanely priced....and seeing her wear them with the white jeans only makes me realize 1/ that I haven't invested in the white jeans that I've been wanting and 2/ well, there really is no 2 now that I think of it. Please refer to 1. I want.

shorts and booties.

here it is....my shorts and boots obsession! This has only made my feelings stronger and in the process of looking up these outfits...I found 2 more blogs that I've saved and will be following! There are just tooo many good ones out there!

shorties and boots.

a couple things I'd like to point out in this post.
1/ SUPER cute outfits and loving the black. Me love black:)
- photos courtesy of Lily & Jae
**after some digging I WAS able to find prices on Lily & Jae, prices that were in fact out of my price range. Mystery solved.
2/ I'm more than frustrated with sites that have NO prices listed. What do I have to do to get a price? Are they assuming that you should not even be looking at their site unless you can afford to buy something without knowing what the cost is? It's just seriously ridiculous.
- the previous post 'pretty stand ups' has the same problem, when looking up those gorgeous brides maids dresses at Rachel Pally....NO prices...arg. I can only assume they are and will always be out of my price range.
3/ and my new favorite thing is shorts and boots! I think I'll be dipping into that further in a future post. Shorts and boots, shorts and boots.

engagement boots.

i was BEYOND excited to see this post on Erin Hearts Court, a photography site. Beautttttiful work!
the most important part of these pictures is the boots. Obviously the pictures are super cute and laid back and this I love for me and J. BUT those are MY boots. The $160 Wedding Aldo's that J agreed to let me have:)
I guess I'm just pumped to see them with a summer-ish outfit cause I was worried that mine might be Justttt for winter and I just think they're too awesome to leave in the closet for 4 months!
And again...getting more and more excited about the possibility of getting some engagement pictures done. We still have to do some math and see if we can swing professional ones and they'd really only be for our benefit anyways...otherwise we plan to have mama do it. But I'm tempted. More and MORE tempted!

want it.

sundance.
Learn it...Live it. Yes...very lame but this magazine/store is AMAZINGGG!!! and well over my teeny budget. BUT when I become wealthy...watch out!

my favorites today are this seriously gorgeous ring (and only $995). Had me and J gone together and picked something out, this would have been it. Although I didn't get this ring...I am most definitely not disappointed. Having J go and pick out a ring that he envisioned me wearing for the rest of our lives....that makes it all that much more perfect! And J even said that when he saw my ring, he just felt like it was me. :)

and these boots (a reasonable $235?!). What can I say about them...I want them. That sums it up. I want them in my closet...waiting for me. There when I need them. To wear with a cute skirt, when throwing on some black tighty pants. Yep. They must be mine.
I'm trying to justify buying them, of course I'll wait and see if they go on sale in the coming months. But I've bought a jacket for $165, a leather purse for $100...
Yeah, this isn't really helping. Just making me feel like I spend a lot of money!

PS. Just noticed that the name of these boots is also MY freaking name! Obviously meant to be. I love to stress these things to J. If it's meant to be, who am I to fight it?!;)

posers.

okay...this dress and these boots are SO totally me!! IF anything...I think I can say that the tall leather Aldo boots were definitely worth the investment....they'll come in handy as soon as I find this dress to wear with them!:)
Yep, great engagement picture idea. OR....
we could incorporate my love for the oldie beetles....the look is adorable. Picture this...me wearing some cute cut offs, with leather flops, hair completely natural and a flowy white top, sitting back on the beetle!? Super cute, super laid back and relaxed!

OH, and J will be there too;)
