want it friday.

boots, boots, boots...apples and bananasssss:)

at the moment I'm ready to shop my FACE OFFFFFF! Such an urge and in my experience...it's usually not good for me to put something like this off. Pushing down the urge only gets us a SUPER wasted Casey, who throws small toys at newborns (I totallllyyyy didn't see that newborn laying there...who lays in the middle of a floor like that?!...fast forward to present day and you have a girl - ME - who has been on drinking restrictions forrrrrrr 9 months...going strong...pat.on.back:):);).
Oh, wait...we're talking about shopping, right!?

BUT these are 2 very similar habits. The drinking thing I have under control. The shopping thing on the other hand...is a learning process. Recently I've become very familiar with the local Post Man. I make many a online purchase and I make MANY a return. So...good...and bad:) BUT a step in the right direction (in my opinion:).

POINT: i've found that most things I USED to do in excess (drinking...crying...shoppinggg...sometimes in that exact order;) are much better kept in check when I get to do them in moderation:)

Minnetonka - Fringed Tall Boot $90 - must have these in black. Will have these in black and I believe Nordstrom's has free shipping...will have.

I WANT.

Aldo - Farmar $180 - and in my experience...NEVER...I repeat...NEVER buy new at Aldo. It will go on sale within 3 months of your full priced purchase. These...I will wait it out for:)

I WANT.

and then I should be good for boots. Like...literally...Good. My closet could not hold more boots after I add these 2 boots.

i do...or don't?!

sorry for the awful iPhone photos. BUT what are our thoughts about this outfit!? I'm thinking of wearing it to a wedding Jacob and I have on Saturday.

thinking:
- is the skirt too white?! I do.NOT want to be a guest wearing too much white..you know?!

also thinking of wearing my wedding reception heels - Nine West - to get those worked in a bit.
And they're absolutely precious. I want to cuddle with them!!!

happpppy new....

i already found THE perfect New Years outfit for the amazing wedding we have plans to attend this year...ON New Year's Eve.

BUTttttt that doesn't mean a girl's done looking. I'm VERY fond of some new things I'm seeing. Extremely trendy but does that mean I shouldn't give it a shot?

i was thinking of giving the knee high socks a try and I've been looking for an excuse to buy those Aldo booties...I mean...REALLY digging. Jacob is just TOO good. He has yet to do anything bad enough that warrants me to reem his ass, grab my purse and storm out of the house saying "I'm going to ALDO'S and YOU.CAN'T.STOP.ME!".
Nope. He's a very good boy. Damn him!

if only I could support my aldo habit.

unfortunately for Jacob and any plans he had of getting gas for the next few weeks...ALL the heels I've been drooling over are on Supa' Sale!!!!! Aren't these SO pretty and SO simple?! I love the knots and that color...oh, man..that color!!!!
Smolinicky $55.98 - SALE
Sienicki $90
i'm sold. I WANT these for my wedding! I'm getting deja' vu...have I said that before!?!?!;)
Gettis $43.98 - SALE
Fornili $90
these are some newbies and I'm just drawn to the booties. Not sure why but for quite some time I've wanted some and I have a feeling I will by the end of this year!
Fiscal $47.98 - SALE

gawwwwwwwd! I'm dieing here. DIE-INGGGGGG!! These are some oldies but goodies AND some new ones and I want them all the same:)

Aldo is a weakness of mine. A weakness of ALL my sisters...and my cousin...and probably my daughter's (IF I choose to put myself through that;) someday...and I mostly know that we'll be guaranteed to have ALL girls because of Jacob's refusal to believe we'll have anything other than triplet boys. SO yeah. He's sealed his fate of being out numbered by emotional and irrational ladies and I'll be the biggest of all....yep.

i heart Aldo:)

more MOA goodies.

more shots from our recent Mall of America trip!:) Well, we actually rode along for 'moral support' cause Pigg (Megan) had an interview in the Cities! Whooo HOOO! We're excited to hear if she's on to the next step, which would mean a 2nd interview next week!!!!!

anyhoo....I'll fill you in on a few more things. Most importantly me finding my outfit for the New Year's Eve wedding me and Jacob are attending! It's beautiful and SO me and I just love it and luckily my mom asked to stop in at this new store, Francesca's Collection, cause I would have definitely passed any other time! And yep, we stumbled upon this beauty.!
I actually love it SO much that I'm considering having it made in cream for our Thursday night Ceremony. Yes. I've lost my mind. BUT this dress also makes me not want to go shopping in October for dresses anymore. I'd like to just stop and go with one of the many ideas I have so far. I'm just slowly but surely losing that urge to have a 'big/wedding/white/long/traditional' wedding gown. And that's exciting to me!:)

Francesca's Collection $38

ties I found for Jacob...thinking I'll snatch them up in November. Should have just ballsd up and did it then! Frick. I hate when I'm indecisive! - Aldo Accessories $15

my pretty MOA:)

me and Lukey trying on hats. We're so stylish:)

Lukey loved the Shark!!! He's so cute that it almost makes me want to throw the 'kid rule' out the window. ALMOST!!!!;)

my wants...purchased.

i just recently made a trip to MOA with my mom, sister Megan and nephew Luke. We had SO much fun and I found some great stuff!
There is NOTHING like Mall of America. It's the greatest and I get giddy just thinking about it! haglkhKLGHKLAHGLK - Me giddy!

so here are some of the things I bought and what I learned on my most recent MOA trip:
1/ kids...FANtasssstic as they are....are not welcome at MOA;)...and I only mean that for if you're shopping. Otherwise..have at it! It's a great place for the kiddos!

2/ don't run red lights, even on accident. It is scary...scary in that laugh until you find yourself crying and can't stop kinda scary!

3/ mom WILL throw down if you butt while we're waiting for the elevator...people are more and more oblivious to common courtesy.

4/ no sale at Nordstorm is sale enough for my checking account. Don't.Bother.

my new purse of choice - For Love 21 $32-ish?! - this store is basically Forever21's Accessories store
LOVE sunglasses and found 2 gems - For Love 21, $5.80-ish? and Aldo - $12-ish

super cute strapless jean dress - Heritage 1981 $8...YES. $8 freaking dollars!!!
graphic print skirt - Forever21 $22.80 - this will look amazing with just black flops, my black Target Wedges, flat tall black boots or with tights...Can't wait to get it out a few times a year and in different seasons!

cute detailed top - Forever21 $19.80

adorable beaded cardy that will go with ANYTHING...or at least I'll wear it with ANYTHING - H&M $24.95
Forever21 $22.80...had I paid any attention to the price I would not have invested in this tank, as cute as it is.
my new fedora-ish hat...mainly for Spain:) - Forever21 $8.80

please refrain from adding up the amount of money I spent in a total of 4 hours at the MOA! Yes. I like to shop and I wouldn't call it a problem. I'd call it a second love...very close second;) We actually have our annual trip coming up the 1st weekend in November and I'm beyond excited. I have really nothing on my list of Wants/Needs except for the usual fall/winter stuff: sweaters, cardys, boots, belts, stocking cap....
Currently the only few things on my list are:
1/ hard sunglasses case so that I can preserve the few sunglasses I have till Spain next year - or just foreverrrrr

2/ fly swatter

3/ rings for the shower curtain...just cleaned it all up...it's ready to be showered in and I realize I never bought rings to hang the freaking curtain. Yes, that would be about the time I'd normally lose it. BUT after some deep breathing techniques and repeating 'serenity now...serenity now...SERENITY NOW' - courtesy of Seinfeld, I was able to overcome...barely!!!!

4/ umbrella

SO I don't think those few things are TOO much to ask for and Jacob has made me promise (aka. sign in blood) that I'd concentrate on actually using the money I take to MOA for Christmas Shopping, which is what that money is actually designated for. SO I have a lot of mental preparation to tend to before I'm ready to realllly commit to that 'promise'. I.Can.Do.This.

birthday suit shoes.

all these 'nude' heels from Aldo are making me SO anxious. I can not waittttt till our Annual Mall of America (MOA) Trip in November...I MAY even have a freaking wedding dress by then!!!
Anyhoo, this year will mark our 6th trip....!? I think? Either way....at LEAST 2 pair of Aldo's are bought while on this trip.....at least 2 of us leave MOA with a pair of Aldo's and in 6 years....there have been no regrets about those decisions!
maybe only making the trip to Aldo once a year is what makes it all that much more special and I definitely want my wedding shoes to be special.

the mullet dress.

i've seen this style of dress around more and more. I know I posted about it before....But they're really starting to grow on me. Mainly because I LOVEEEE heels and wedges....and heels...and wedges. And so when I make my trip to Aldo for my Wedding Shoes....what a special day it will be! I think I would love to be able to show them off as much as possible through-out the day and night!
Besides that..my feet are super cute! Lucky girl am I.

PS. I've blogged about a lot of Julie Harris' stuff in the last few posts. It's worth your time to check out her blog....she's got some amazing talent. A true ar-tist:)

want it. BAD.

i heartttttt these heels. I don't know why...I don't know how....it could be the color, the zig zag or even the somewhat short and less scary height of the heel (remember my 'falling down' habit:).
But they're WonnnnnDEfullllll!

Aldo - Gettis $85
I've definitely spent more on shoes before and I honestly think I'd wear these A LOT!...I WOULD!!!!

me love you aldo.

Aldo heels for $90 each. I think I'll be adding these to my basket one way or another but wondering how freaking wonderful these would look under a wedding dress Friday night and with tights and a short white dress on Saturday night?! Ah, yes. I'll answer that. AMAZING!!!

Do you think Jacob would mind if we had 3 pair of Aldo's come out of the Wedding Budget?
