tights of all sorts.
this adorably vintage, care-free wedding is courtesy of Green Wedding Shoes.
and what I like about it:
UP i love their look. The look in the picture and just how they look together. BUT also loving her shoes!!
DOWN how cute are those maid colors together?! I just think it, first and foremost, shoes how anything goes! And those flowers are exactly as I'd like mine to look.

black is back.
and as soon as I was sure that I thought wearing the same dresses for both ceremony and reception was fantastic...I realize I DO in fact want to have black on Saturday night. I just love black tooooo freaking much:)
PS. I dooo realize how lame this post title is. Black is Back?! Reallllllyyyy!? Remind me of a little tune: (must be something about the 'being back' part...)...either way...INCREDIBLY lame-o.

legs. legs. tights.
the most fun part about the wedding right now is that we're finally under a year and we're finally to the point where we know what we want and we're just finding ways to make our visions become a reality.
today my continued obsession stays with tights. I can't get ENOUGH of them. I know I'm having my lovely ladies where them for our Saturday night reception. Patterned....whooohalghalkghlagh Hoooooo. I can't wait to see how they look!
And tights for me, of course.
i'm not sure at this point when or where I'll be wearing the tights. After seeing the brides below...I've settled on wearing tights At.All.Times:)

black pattern.
i've been thinking more and more about my New Year's outfit for the wedding me and Jacob will be attending and I've come to the conclusion that I need to mix it up a bitttt more. I realize that my dress will be different. This I know because it's just different and no one likes exactly what I like. At least I have that going for me:)
But I have a feeling there will be at least ONE other girl in every circle I stand, wearing black tights.
unfortunately, tights are the obvious choice when transitioning into cold weather. And the even MORE obvious choice when wanting to wear a dress to a winter wedding. So I was prepared for this. I don't want to give up my dream of wearing tights so I'm thinking about changing it up a bit and trying some pattern. This may mean that I'll need to get a different dress. Something with less detail. But I think the pattern will be worth the change. Super cute, super easy and SUPER cheap.
And besides that...I just don't think I'm willing to take the risk on knee high socks/stockings just quite yet.
my favorite example is the one below. I love the green/turquoise jacket, which also has some pattern, with the black patterned tights. that would be ideal.

this dress is so amazing. I love the detail and especially the little lace detail at the bottom. With tights it's perfection.
