so many fantastic details happening here. All of which I have in my possession or could easily posses. My oh my. I love me some vintage crap and someday, when we have a bigger place, our home will morph from looking like a flea market to a place with some reallllly amazing details:)

DOWN love the letters and obviously it was meant to be...C - Casey S - Smith;) They, obviously, planned that knowing I'd eventually stumble upon this photo.

UP/DOWN just recently I bought a scale, very similar to this, for my bff's birthday! She'd been looking for one and I happen to come across one at a local thrift store. As well as the $60 vintage wedding purse of my dreams. I'm savin'.:)

i'm SO excited for the reception. I KNOW it's going to be perfect...especially because it's at my parent's land and I know they are really excited to make it perfect for us:)

below is the best barn wedding I've seen yet. And reminds me of how I'd like ours to turn out:

- lights outside

- dance floor outside...although after talking with my mom and sister, Pigg, we decided that it'd probably be best to keep the dance floor IN the building so that we don't split the event up too much. I'd hate to have NO one inside...especially since there will be food and drinks and a little photo booth and all that good stuff INside. SO thinking dance floor INside...some seating, tables and a fire outside:)

i'd like to post MORE pictures of the house and the wedding shower and the gifts I received and how beautiful everything looks....soon. Very soon my pretties!

and by soon, I mean Tuesday. That's when my Mac will FINALLY freaking be here! Arg. I could seriously take some time off work and track down that FedEx truck, punch him in the face and thank him very much for my Mac. I.Want.IT.NOW!!!...And by now, I mean yesterday!!!!!!

but for now...I'll do some light blogging from this Dell. Stupid Dell;)

above (not below, where I actually want it but am unable to move it cause this Dell doesn't understand what Ctrl C/Ctrl V means. IDIOTTTTTTT!!!) there is an adorable picture of some lawn ornaments. I received the identical flamingo's for our Wedding Shower.

did we register for pink flamingos?! Now way in hell.
did someone stray from the registry and get something we absolutely didn't need...say, pink flamingo's?! You're damn right.
did I plan on burning them until seeing this picture!? Next Saturday.

i will now let them live and they may even be welcome at our Reception. IF you don't see them at our reception...you can assume we got bored and decided to burn things;)

so the Mac is in the shop. Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Easter. And I'd say that's awfully big of me, seeing as Easter is my nemesis!!! This has nothing to do with Jesus...more or less the torment I was put through to find my freaking Easter basket. Year....after yearrrrrr...after yearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Take note: this will haunt your children FOReva'!


POINT: even though Easter sucks my butt. I hope it didn't suck yours;)

Double POINT: the Mac situation makes me supa' sad and I'm not sure when it'll be back. I now realize I never gave 'it' a name and I WILL if 'it' comes back to me with a small bill and in working order!:)

and hello....my feet feel amazing just looking at this shot!

UP and belts...and those EARRINGS?! Courts actually got a pair of black feather earrings from F21 and they are freaking adorable and so cheap and I believe she'll be sporting them at the reception...although either ceremony and/or reception would work!:)

UP the earrings aren't quite the same as what Courts got and I think hers are actually cuter but you get the idea. Feathers are pretty much everywhere right now!

DOWN and how about this perfect guest!? I imagine the photographer felt the same, which is why she got her very own picture...but I love that dress!

now I'll give you a break from Style Me Pretty...if it's possible to EVER need a break from Style Me Pretty;)

UP/DOWN how precious are these freaking plates?! The gold trim....ahhh. Be still my heart:) They remind me of my very own newly started vintage plate collection. And I love them and I hold them and stare at them;) Seriously...I like um'.

UP lovin' the lights...can not WAIT to see our place lit up!:)

DOWN more chalk boards. Although it may seemmmm like I have about 100 chalkboards ready to be hung..I really don't. Hopefully, nothing will seem overboard. But I have collected a few frames that will work perfectly for chalkboards.

One is actually very similar to this one...I love it...may leave it be till we have a wedding photo to put in it...seems to pretty to cover in chalk:)

DOWN pretty flowers. I didn't need this picture to remind me that I made the right decision with the super inexpensive Farmer's Market wild flowers...but it sure is a friendly reminder:)

HLYYa glahglkhaklghlkgah = me excited. I'm OVER The MOON excited...I just can't wait...I can...but I can't WAIT for this wedding to be happening. AHglkhglahlkgahlga!!!!

loring pasta bar wedding.

i love when I visit one of my favorite blogs - Style Me Pretty - and they're featuring a wedding from our area. This wedding is from Minnesota and ceremony located at the Loring Pasta Bar. IF you are a die hard I Heart My Wedding reader...then you'd know that Jacob and I just visited this place with friends a few weekends back.

The look was AMAZING and so fun to see that an awesome wedding was there and we were there!:)

pink dot represents me and Jacob:) That's where we were sitting. And it rocked!

wow. SO much has been happening today!!! I had the day off and got ALL the Christmas decor out of the house and even got the tree out ALL by my lonesome.

I made it a little more dramatic than was necessary by literally chucking it out the front door and watching it slide out onto the sidewalk. I couldn't help myself;)

Did I mention that I'm not an amazon woman...the tree was somewhat Charlie Brown so I could totally lift it with one hand;)

besides all that, I made reservations for our first stay in Spain, well, Portugal...check it out HERE!! It's amazing amazing..blowingggg my mindddd!!! Can not waittttt to be there with Jacob.

PS. We'll be staying in the Vintage Room:)

BREAK while I pull myself together and wipe away the tears. But the thought of marrying Jacob and then spending 23 days across an ocean with him looking out at a view like that...it makes me ridiculously emotional. There's just no way that view could EVER be as special without Jacob:')

ACTUAL POINT: I saw this wedding video on Style Me Pretty and it's adorable and reminds me of what I hope to get from Peyton, my oldest nephew. He's going to be running around with the little Flip Video Camera I bought, capturing some candid moments of the day(I've bribed him into this by promising I'll hand over the $150 camera to him at the end of the day...I'm outta my MIND;).

i was hoping there would be a way to jump to the end of the video but there's just not. But it's worth watching. Adorable. I LOVE their couples dance at the end. Great tune - HERE - and love the clapping:)

Got me to thinking about me and Jacob's song. I've decided to share. Jacob picked this out for us. Which only makes it that much greater. There's really no where to put in a clapping part, I've tried...minus the clapping, it's still going to be the best:)

this wedding on Style Me Pretty (my Go-To wedding blog:) has exactly what I'm hoping for. Have I said that before?! Have I said "have I said that before" before?~?!

sorry again and again about the repetitiveness but this wedding has some details that I hope to replicate at our wedding...IN 9 MONTHS:)

the bride's dress above is gorgeous. I hope that my dress, which reminds me of something similar to hers. It surely doesn't look the same but the cut and the fit and the flow...that reminds me of what I see for my dress. It's absolutely simple in an incredibly unique way.

the flowers are are also exactly as we hope for ours. This summer when we went to the Farmer's Market and ended up with twenty-some jars in our house filled with wild flowers....it looked identical to what this wedding has going for it.

ahglhalgkhalgkal = me getting super excited that what we're envisioning is starting to feel less and less like a hot mess and more and more like it's working!!

her hair. Need I say more!? I love that style. Hmmm...inspiration for my next post...coming up:)

get er' big.

Style Me Pretty had the most addddorably big letters in a recently featured wedding!

i'm not sure why...but I seem to be finding things that I can make 'big' at an alarming rate. BUT better the details be big, so to make my body look small?! I'm hoping it works that way:)

can't you just see a BIG J and C!!!!?? Maybe people would enjoy letters more than our huge faces?! Just a guess...

OR we could have the big letters and then paste our huge faces ONTO the huge letters...now things are coming together!!!

also spotted this unique guest book. The couple allowed the guests to fill in the thought bubbles. I'm really liking this idea...although maybe we could have our pic printed on 300 little sheets and then a thought bubble coming from a generic 'guest' and let them fill in advice, thoughts, quotes, phrases, pictures....I like where that's going. For some reason I'm still feeling like our Mad Lib approach may be toooo difficult. Wouldn't our guests rather concentrate on NOT counting the amount of drinkies their consuming and getting their groove on then which noun they should fill-in-the-blank!?
