2nd hand shopping can pay off, a lot of times. And this time...$12 went a long way:)
BOUGHT:
i ended up with the earrings, shirt and shoes.
shirt - vintage - $3.50
earrings - vintage - $1.50
and hello...screw on earrings are my new favorite thing. I've found a way to get around my stretched lobes! YAYYYYY!!! I may be able to wear dangling earrings again!!!::)
adorable sneaks for the boys. $.75
i also got some A.DORABLE red shoes for Drew Baby....Jax was nice enough to model them for us:)
awesome red kicks - $.50
and somehow I'm still coming up short on the $12...so maybe there was something else in there I forgot about or the prices are wrong...BUT it was still a pretty inexpensive trip!
THOUGHT about BOUGHT-ING:
amazing cabinet/dresser and I have THE perfect spot for it...kinda...but I want it SO bad that I could make any spot the perfect spot. Can you imagine...a new coat of paint and handles..Perfection:)
But I just couldn't bring myself to do it for $70...going to take some measurements and head back next week:)
some punch bowls that I thought might be good for lemonade at the wedding...lemonade and festive lemonade:) Only $12 each.
cute watch for $1. I love the black and gold but I have about 5 watches at home in need of batteries and they've been in need of batteries for...years. SO I think I need to figure out how I'm going to get them replaced before I add to the collection.
all in all. Great way to blow some time between shifts and find more things to fill up my home and closet:)
what's the secret for the lobes?! please tell. And I want that dresser! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWell..in the old days;) they used to have 'screw-on' earrings...not sure how else to describe them but they work pretty well. Will have to get them out on the town for a night to see how they feel for a longer length of time!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that freaking cabinet. $70 too much!?
