you can officially be annoyed at the amount of times I change my mind. IF you are in fact annoyed, imagine being the one (JACOB) that has to sit around and wait (JACOB) till I find an outfit that I feel 'comfortable' in. This doesn't happen quite as often anymore but when it doessss happen...it's not good. There could be tears, there could even be a point where the car is turned around and I make a run for it back into the house and come back out a bit sweaty, wiping away the tears but there is a smile on my face.

This is when Jacob realizes exactly what it is he's gotten himself into. Yet he stays:)

so I thinkkkk I started off thinking I'd found the perfect little emerald green dress to wear with black booties and tights. Then I moved on to thinking maybe I should mix things up with some patterned black tights and a black skirt because of the amount of black tights that may fill the room at a New Year's wedding. THEN I remembered that I love pleated trousers and those could be fun and a great excuse for me to finally buy a pair.

most recently I've stumbled upon pleather/leather/faux leather pants and NOW I've narrowed it down to a freaking leather skirt. Yes. A leattttther skirt!!! Tell me this is NOT it! It is. It.Is.It. I think;)

yep. These are great options and I'm sure you could find a blouse cheaper than the average $40 that I have found. And at this point I've got a pair of black booties, black peep toes AND black wedges - hopefully you do too and that'd save you from having to get any shoes. SO I'm set there. Me like the leather:)

i'm not going to lie. I'm obsessed with these 2 photos. I love the pairing of something a bit more dramatic - black and leather pants (pleather in my case;) - with a flowy, girly, chic top!

I think it would be a bit of a stretch but I don't think there's any reason this couldn't work for a New Year's Eve wedding.
