put a horse on it.

because I'm annoyed...you get Horses:)

enjoy.

1 - 2 - 3 - 4

anyone that knows me...knows that at leasttttt once a year I add an animal print top to my wardrobe. I like to think of it as a "festive shirt". They're pretty special...as am I;)

inspired by a total cutie on Instagram - katie_did_what - who recently posted a photo of herself wearing an adorable horse print shirt!
*I did contact her about where she got it but it was from F21 a few years back and you knowwww they ain't gonna still have that;)
If you have a moment..check out her adorable blog HERE:)

get festive. loveeeee festive:)

Valentine Love Card, You Make My Heart Happy $3

Valentine's Day is really not a recognized holiday in our home. Not because we're completely against it...but there is a lot of hype behind it and I guess we choose to be obnoxiously in love most every day;) SO we're covered there. BUT we do usually exchange cards...I love adding cards to our little collection. So that is one expectation I have. AND if we had a market or anythingggg closer to us...flowers would be expected too. Grocery store flowers really don't do it for me;)

POINT: regardless of us celebrating it...I love anything festive and most things in this post qualify:)

UP this kinda stuff makes me want to send out tons of snail mail:)

UP/DOWN i love love loveeeeee festive clothing or accessories and that headband and sweaters fit the bill!

29.

my birthday is still abouttttt 10 months away. Eeeeeeek. Soooo why am I thinking about my birthday?! Cause I'm working 10 hours today...Sunday. And this will help to keep my poor finger nails from being chewed to nubs:(

when Jacob called this afternoon I let him know my plans for my 29th birthday. I don't want to get too ahead of myself because I haven't fully adjusted to 28 yet. But if I WERE to plan my 29th birthday party now...10 months in advance...this is what I'd like:)
And yes, Jacob is already aware that I'm a bit looney, so none of this came as a surprise to him:)

A Dinner Party. Adult Dinner Party. A Classy Affair:)

we're talking candles, wine, chit chat, laughs, some picture taking, maybe even a toast of some sort (having to do with meeeee;). And no...no fish bowl filled with keys;)

UP initially I wanted it to be outside...but then I remembered that my mom screwed that up and had me in March. Not cool motha'.

UP/DOWN but even with it being indoors, I should be able to festive up the place. Maybe wear a festive sweater...put up some streamers...hang just a few lights...grab some wild flowers...put out the new antique dishes...

UP and then the final, beautiful, festive result that I'm hoping for:)

oh, and to clarify. I would never really want a surprise party at a bar or anything of that sort. And when I came across a birthday party on 100 Layer Cake, I realized what exactly it was that I would want.

normal people would probably wait to have this sort of celebration for their 30th but I would LOVE to have the fun come on 29 cause I hate to draw that much attention to the fact that I'm turning 30. I have no fear of 30, it's not that. I have a lotta people that I love that ARE or will be 30 this year...and they probably have better skin than I at 28...biatches;)
But, whatever the reason, a dinner party at 29 and a night out with Jacob at 30 just feels right.

POINT: this is why I'm naturally stressed 24/7. SO Jacob says;)
