I'm in jeans and a t.shirt and converses. Or cutoff jean shorts and...a t.shirt and flip flops. OR yoga pants and a...freaking t.shirt and sneakers. Or head-to-toe black. Which is cool...cause that's cool;)

point: I gots to mix it up a bit and I feel like purchasing all the items below would be a great motivation to do just that;)

I would be willing to give you my dog. The little white ugly fluffy one, that requires a $35 hair cut every 3 months (more than I spend on cutting my own hair). I will actually just GIVE you the dog.

today, while having Courts help me with some budgeting, I was mostlyyyy day dreaming about getting home to try on a new-to-me vintage dress that I just recently (prior to all this budget-smudget talk;) ordered from Friendly Fox Vintage:)

this dress may have been made for me...in the 1970's:) It fits perfectly. Only a few things that I'm hoping to have my seamstress adjust:

1/ get some cups for the 'after baby' ladies

2/ possibly shorten the length but from the top - as pointed out in the photo below - that way we can preserve some of the detail at the bottom of the dress

SIDE NOTE: i can't waitttttt for my hair to get longerrrrrr. Grow babyyyyyy. GROW!

i think my favorites are actually the winter and fall looks. I like them paired with skinny jeans! I'm definitely a flip flop girl in the summer time...so I really do think Spring and Fall/Winter are going to get these the most amount of wear!

101 days till SUNNY Florida...not that I'm counting or anything. Nope. Wait. Yes. Yes, I am. I actually have it saved on the Countdown app. on my iPhone;)
We're going to celebrate my cousin's wedding and I couldn't be more excited that we're gonna be there!!!!!:)

with any vacation comes the hope that I'll look flawlessly and, more importantly, effortlessly put together for each event we have while there:) Those events include:

- a plane ride (my baby, Homer - who will be 14mths by then -  is coming with me...my husband, however, will not - eeek.)

- BEACH

- strolling small shops/streets

- wedding:)

so...basically this is what I'd love for our suitcase to be filled with:)

i have been on a few road trips with Homer and he's prettyyyyyy inconsistent...sometimes good...sometimes a hellion. SO I'm not sure how flying will be either. But it will be faster and he can sit with me...and I think it'll be all about timing! Call me crazy, but I can't wait:)

I actually couldn't even make up one good reason why I need these boots...except that my closet is currently a family of 5 - heels, flats, sandals, wedges and boots. We'd like to expand that family and bring in a middlemiddle child (yes...that's a thing:).

my birthday month brings out the monster shopper in me...well...at least the monster shopper 'dreamer' - aka. a girl who fills up her online shopping cart, becomes exhausted, naps and then forgets about full shopping cart for months:) - in me because I'm not actually getting any all most of these things:)

you know what else brings out the shopper in me: having no money!!! Why is it that when I go shopping WITH money budgeted to spend...I find nothing. NADA. But at the end of the month when our 2 mortgage payments are due and the dogs need their shots and I have a dentist appointment and we REALLY need not be spending excess money...THAT'S when everythingggggg looks good?!?! Hmmm. Riddle me THAT.;)

go ahead...do some online shopping! Fill those carts around 10AM and then lay down with the kiddos during nap time! By the time you wake up...you'll feel better about all those things you can't really afford;)

our little man is gaining more and more personality every day! We thought maybe his recent fiestiness may be due to his eye-teeth coming in...sadly, no teeth...he may just be fiesty in general;)

lately, we've been hunkering down. Keeping Homer on a pretty solid schedule, which has given us all more sleep and smiles;) And every day...we remind ourselves how much closer we are to SPRING. Jacob and I are really hoping we can take Homer to his first Brewer Game this summer!!! Or at the very least...get Gram's (mom;) to watch him for a night so we can go ourselves...of course, we'll tell Homer alllll about it when we get home;)
