smith's: day 1:)

we spent our first days as Mr. and Mrs. Smith taking the long way home from La Crosse, WI (where we had our wedding ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 8). If you've never had the privilege of taking Wisconsin Trunk 108, do it up.

Unless you get severe car sickness. Then this is a scenic route to avoid.

but Jacob and I love a good road trip. Road trips are surely in my top 5 of favorite things to do. Until gas prices took a turn for THE WORSEEEEEEE...it was in the top 3:(

we came to a pass and there was an area to pull off and check things out. I took photos while Jacob read the info...which is why I have nothing to report about what significance this pass had. Oops:)

But doesn't my HUSBAND look adorable reading it?!;)

SO many people had carved messages in the rocks surrounding the pass and we tried to join them but couldn't find anything sharp enough. But it was a great site to see:)
