it's gorgeous and even though I came to my senses and am going to stick with the dress I already have for our Reception...this one had me thinking for justtttt a minute...or 24 hours...

i seriously still want to buy it but there's nothing I could do with it. You can't wear this to a Family Reunion or a Baby Shower and there's that pesky 'no wearing white to a wedding that's not YOURS' rule....I seriously even considered buying it for my imaginary daughter...someday she'll need a supa' cool prom dress (my imaginary daughter isn't going to be run of the mill...she's going to like vintage and cheap and everything I like;) OR for her very own wedding reception in...2040. Yep. It'll still be classy then:)

once again...JAniston rocks my world.

she's been doing a whole black thing lately. I usually see her in a lot of earthy, neutral colors but seeing her in LOTS of blacks for days upon days is really fun too. It makes this black colored clothing lover very happy to see:)

notice that awesome black ring!? I mean...really. So simple. How did I never think of that. Black ring is now on my list of Wants. And the gold is a favorite of mine too!

after I found this great top from Fossil today, it got the wheels a turnin'!!!

the plan is to LOVE the wedding dress I'm having made SO much that I'll end up wearing it to the Saturday reception too. BUT lets say, by some crazy little chance, I'm not IN love with it. Just a like but there's no future there?!;)

one must have a back up plan. A little Plan B in order to keep me a happy camper in case the love isn't there in Plan A.

i plan to search out a short white dress and then fall in love and then after trying on the wedding dress, IF there are no sparks...I go scoop up that little white number I fell in love with at first sight!:)

BUT there are always other options. And who would have ever thought of white pants!? This girl. Below is my inspiration and all cause of this top...I wanted it to work and wasn't feeling a skirt (although a pencil skirt actually might work - googling now!!!).

black and white w/ a little old DJ.

this inspiring wedding, found on Style Me Pretty, has helped me to keep my mind off the DJ we may have potentially chosen. Don't get me wrong. The guy's sweet and very passionate about what he does, I should know...I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with him and by the end I didn't have enough words to fake my enthusiasm;). He's getting up their in age, which makes Jacob question his ability to relate with the crowd...the 'Wedding Guide' he sent in the mail: see below. Man...looks like something that was printed of his Dell in 1990 and has been photocopied many, many, mannnny times since. Can we go with someone that lacks the ability to set-up something new in Word!?



besides that...How about this wedding?! I love black and white...but what I love more than black and white is Black and CREAM. I guess I'm just not a fan of that big of a contrast but black and cream keeps it just a tad closer.




point: I LOVE THOSE GLOVES!!! Could a girl like me, a bride like me...a wedding like ours...Could we pull off the black gloves? I sure do want to:)
