ohhhhh snap!

so I got this:):)

happy face. oh, shit face. nervous cause I can't stop spending our money face;)...and then back to the happy face;)

we had/have a large Nikon that we're currently trying to sell to my sister, Pigg. Then we're putting that mola back towards a larger lense for this little guy:) I loved our big Nikon (D60) but we just didn't use it enough to warrant having it. SO after reading some reviews having my mom read a ton of reviews, we found that this is the perfect camera for us! Small but not small!

i can't wait to get it! Since our point and shoot bit the dust, months ago...we've basically been living on iPhone pics. But that will all change when THIS beauty arrives next week!!! YAY!!! Just in time to capture Homer's first Christmas:)

you got to click it.

after reading a post on a new adorable blog I found, Bower Power, I realized there's a SUPER easy way for me and Jacob to get great photos that include us while overseas!:)

UP/DOWN hopefully we can spare you the over abundance of self shot photos - 'arm out in front' ...arg.
and then there's always the timer...ahhhhh...'didn't quite make it' shots;)

UP/DOWN and then after hearing from Bower Power that they used a camera remote for their most recent vacation...HELLO!? Why didn't we think of that!? And the funny thing is...we will have a remote cause we're purchasing one for our little moch Photo booth for the wedding reception...der.

and the most ridiculous part...this thing is about $16. Awesome. It's already on the list...so I'll be working on crossing that off very very soon:)

it's all about the memories. for better or for worse:)

i sometimes feel like I'm giving all the goodies out for free...kinda slutty;) BUT I can't help myself. I just want to let it all hang out...okay...I do feel like I'm referencing a slut..for real.

BUT for real. I love telling some of the details...most of the details...cause I know things look a whole hell of a lot different on paper than they do in person. SO I'm just hoping that it blows your mind when you see it! And it should...but hopefully in a positive way:)

this little video camera is what we're thinking of purchasing for my nephew, Peyton, to use at the ceremony. I'm liking what I see SO much that I'm thinking $150 isn't TOO bad to pay for something like this. Something we can keep forever and use on our Spain Honeymoon right after! And those accessories....waterproof case for $50 and tripod for $25. I'm thinking these are all a must and will now be added to my Christmas List for mom and maybe even a birthday present from me:)
Obviously, we'll have to have a back-up in case for someeee odd reason P isn't interested in taping the day of. Kids, distracted!? No wayyyy!;) SO we're thinking in that case we'll make sure to borrow...BORROW - to save massive amounts of money - a camcorder and tripod for a guaranteed recording of the ceremony!
Have I mentioned lately how much I want to marry this boy!?!?:)

me and Jacob have always wanted to have everyone there for our wedding ceremony. Don't get me wrong. We absolutely, 100% feel right about the small ceremony we'll be having but that doesn't mean there's not a small part that won't miss our goofy friends, BFF's and extended family. They've been a huge part of our lives together and separately but alas, you're NOT invited;) Mostly cause the thought of walking down that isle in front of all those people left me feeling nauseous. No lie. (another admission - the estimate for a dinner group of 125 ALSO left me feeling nauseous). So all in all...I'm thinking for my current weight loss plan, maybe we should have gone big?!?!;)

but to keep you all in the loop and share the magic of our day...we want to enlarge it and play it over and over and OVER again ALL.Night.Long. That way the shaky version of our wedding (that our 10yr. old nephew has been assigned to capture) will forever be with you...like it or not;)

spain in style.

gorillapod $19.99

while hunting down cute things and ideas for our Spain Honeymoon, I stumbled upon these amazing tid bits!

The Photojojo Store has the quirkiest little gadgets and awesome cameras and such. Great ideas and where I found the flexible camera tripod (gorillapod:) and the bottle cap tripods. Both excellent ideas and seeing as it'll just be me and J on this trip, might be nice to have something with us so that helps us avoid having all our pictures look as if we are 17 again, taking pictures of ourselves from an arms length. Arg.

and that bag?! are you kidding me...It's seriously an extension of myself. OR would be if I could have it. Although I'm about 99% sure that J would finally break if I invested $320 into a carry-on bag. Which is what I would use it for. God. We'd be sooo pretty walking through the airport together:( Me and the bag...but J would be there too;)
