just thinking about how it's only 257 days away and how today is Christmas and how we'll be getting married and how Jacob got me the most amazing wedding band as a surprise Christmas present and it's just a good day and here I am at work and I kinda left the house crabby cause there's no way to REALLY feel good about leaving the house at 530am on Christmas morning to go to work...KNOWING that you have to work for 4 hours and then Christmas festivities and THEN come back for another 4 hours of work later in the night.

phew.

POINT: these pretties reminded me to look at my hand and think about Jacob and be happy that everything is as it is:)

most of the time Etsy is amazing...well, the majority of the time. BUT the worst part about it, besides the amount of time I spend surfing through the site during a work day...is that SO many things are SO close to super cheap that it makes you think you need Wayyyy too much stuff.

1/ Alphabet Rolling Rubber Stamp from Wonderland Room $22.95

i've already decided that we'd have my oldest sister/MOH, Courts, do the text on the envelopes. From there...nothings been decided. We've thrown around the idea of getting a stamp for our return address....OR something as adorable as this alphabet stamp. BUT it looks like it could be A LOTtttt of work! And work I no like.

1/ Diamond Blue Sapphire Wedding Band from Adzias Jewelry Atelier $430

pretty. pretty. PRETTY. And I think this is unique enough to satisfy me and the price is a bit high compared to the $30 I was hoping to spend;) BUT I think this would work. I think this could be the one:)

now to find Jacob one for $30 to make up for how much I may spend on mine:)

the great ring debate.

these pretties from Cathy Waterman...are just that. Pretty! And unique and vintage and just right in every way and with a touch of black....Yes. I love.
Do I love my current ring - YES!!!
Would this have been the ring if we had more money, etc. - Mayyyybe not
Would I trade my ring in - NEVER
Does it mean the world to me and make it the one cause Jacob saw it and thought of me - More than words:)
Did we get super creeped out when we realized that my ring is an EXACT replica of Courts, the older sister's. Same size, same shape...the only differences are that mine is silver and hers is gold. And Jacob didn't buy the wraparound band that Courts has (thank goddddd;).
But when I told him this he was pretty surprised...obviously he hadn't done research on the rings in my life;) But that's okay...if anything it was just a fun reminder that we're all quite close. Closer than we think.

but really...isn't it bad enough that my sister is married to my fiance's brother and we're all super super (some say creepily;) close and NOW we have the same rings!?!;)

this is it. THESE are my wedding bands. Well, to not seem too spoiled...I'll only ask for one. But are these not the wedding bands of my freaking dreams?! They are. That they are:)

Learn it...Live it. Yes...very lame but this magazine/store is AMAZINGGG!!! and well over my teeny budget. BUT when I become wealthy...watch out!

my favorites today are this seriously gorgeous ring (and only $995). Had me and J gone together and picked something out, this would have been it. Although I didn't get this ring...I am most definitely not disappointed. Having J go and pick out a ring that he envisioned me wearing for the rest of our lives....that makes it all that much more perfect! And J even said that when he saw my ring, he just felt like it was me. :)

and these boots (a reasonable $235?!). What can I say about them...I want them. That sums it up. I want them in my closet...waiting for me. There when I need them. To wear with a cute skirt, when throwing on some black tighty pants. Yep. They must be mine.

I'm trying to justify buying them, of course I'll wait and see if they go on sale in the coming months. But I've bought a jacket for $165, a leather purse for $100...

Yeah, this isn't really helping. Just making me feel like I spend a lot of money!

PS. Just noticed that the name of these boots is also MY freaking name! Obviously meant to be. I love to stress these things to J. If it's meant to be, who am I to fight it?!;)

my band idea.

currently I'm obsessed with the idea of 2 bands to go with my ring. I want just a littttle something to make my ring really my own. J did an amazing job picking out my ring ALL on his own! Which only makes me love it all that much more (it's a solitaire Marquise Diamond). But I think the litttttle bit of gold with the diamonds will REALLY make it me!
