look for me on ESB!!!!!!!

guess who wrote to East Side Bride...and guess who was answered!!!!?!?!?! And is now on the East Side Bride Website?!??!

mmeeeeeeeeeeee!:)

SO freaking awesome! I've been a long time reader of her site and love all her feedback! Great, great stuff. And there's an f-bomb in there pretty frequently...this I can relate to;)

head on over to East Side Bride and check it out and then read below for my thoughts on her feedback!

me thoughts:)
My main pickle was how to accessorise and what to do with my feets for the wedding reception on Saturday night. As you can see, if you read the article, I included the link to my Saturday night dress. Eeeeeeek. Kinda ruined the surprise but since it's not even in the right color and obviously I'm going to be WAY more smokin' hot than that lameeee model;)....nothin's reallllly ruined;)

she came up with some really awesome ideas! I'm not in Loveeeee with the feet situation but I think I could see where I could love this but maybe some tweaking....like the shoes below!?

and how cool that she, like us little 5-follower bloggers, does the whole Etsy thing too!?

Nine West

either way...I'm SO stoked that I was featured on her website! I seriously dream about being somewhat cool enough to be ON their websites....so this...this is awesome!:)

and I feel as if I should just do as she says because I'm sure she knows better than I do what is good for me:)

i found my band. I found my BAND!!!!

is $575.92 too much to ask for a wedding band?! Lord...I don't think so:) Ideally, I'd like the yellow gold one (top).

power of simple.

photos UP/DOWN via Feather Love Photography

i love the idea of simplicity. There are for surely times I leave the house in coral nail polish with gold bracelets and a sparkly ring...but for our wedding...I think simplicity will win.

above is a bride who looks amazing and besides loving her dress..I love her earrings and she keeps it at that. Nicely done.

below I have a few things that I've been collecting at 2nd hand stores as well as flea markets and antique stores. Now to decide what to leave at home. I LOVE it all!!!!

UP/DOWN items from my own collection:)

pretty. rich.

for this post, I'll start with the point and then lose my way;)

POINT: the jewelry. I have my reception dress. I love it. I think it's perfect but now it needs the perfect jewelry. Classic ME, I jumped the gun on the jewelry and since I took a picture of myself in the get up and then emailed it to all my accounts, so that I could look at it...study it...EVERY day...I'm starting to think it needs a change in jewelry. It wasn't me.

insert - Erin Hearts Court - who has now introduced me to Kindred Stones - which I now...after getting super excited about finding the Perfect jewelry and then starting this post and THEN looking up prices...realize is WAY out of my price range. Frick.

i have a girl crush on each one of these pretty ladies!!

and I want that middle slouchy top.

and, as you know, I love red hair.

i'll never wear a sweater without a long necklace..EVER again.

and here's the necklace combination that I love and think may be perfect for me and my dress. Now to save $400;) BUT luckily F21 has some supa' cheap alternatives!

etsy tuesday.

two things caught my eye today on Etsy. Cheeeeeeck check...check it out:)

1/ Alphabet Rolling Rubber Stamp from Wonderland Room $22.95

i've already decided that we'd have my oldest sister/MOH, Courts, do the text on the envelopes. From there...nothings been decided. We've thrown around the idea of getting a stamp for our return address....OR something as adorable as this alphabet stamp. BUT it looks like it could be A LOTtttt of work! And work I no like.

1/ Diamond Blue Sapphire Wedding Band from Adzias Jewelry Atelier $430

pretty. pretty. PRETTY. And I think this is unique enough to satisfy me and the price is a bit high compared to the $30 I was hoping to spend;) BUT I think this would work. I think this could be the one:)

now to find Jacob one for $30 to make up for how much I may spend on mine:)

the great ring debate.

these pretties from Cathy Waterman...are just that. Pretty! And unique and vintage and just right in every way and with a touch of black....Yes. I love.
Do I love my current ring - YES!!!
Would this have been the ring if we had more money, etc. - Mayyyybe not
Would I trade my ring in - NEVER
Does it mean the world to me and make it the one cause Jacob saw it and thought of me - More than words:)
Did we get super creeped out when we realized that my ring is an EXACT replica of Courts, the older sister's. Same size, same shape...the only differences are that mine is silver and hers is gold. And Jacob didn't buy the wraparound band that Courts has (thank goddddd;).
But when I told him this he was pretty surprised...obviously he hadn't done research on the rings in my life;) But that's okay...if anything it was just a fun reminder that we're all quite close. Closer than we think.

but really...isn't it bad enough that my sister is married to my fiance's brother and we're all super super (some say creepily;) close and NOW we have the same rings!?!;)

etsy thursday.

again...the kid thing;)
But there is SO much cute stuff out there. If I could onllllly forget how much work they are and only concentrate on all the cute stuff I'd be buying!:)
and a very clever, romantic necklace. Me want.

1/ Down Home Amy - Baby Bib, $17
2/
House that Crow Built - Brass Anatomical Heart Necklace, $45

hand check.

i gotta say...I'm loving the twisted look for me. My biggest worry is how it'll look with my more modern looking engagement ring but my main issue really wasn't finding anything that worked together...I just wanted a plain band that I could wear most of the time. This one could be that!

and I'm SO on this ring for Jacob if he'd be willing to wear it. I know he's pretty open and he's quite the romantic, no lie:) BUT it may be justttt a hair too much for him. AND wasn't it enough that we got the matching tattoos to signify a life together?! Ah... no.
I want him wearing a ring and it will be engraved:
i own you.

my hunt for finger bling.

the more I think about it, the more I realize that I want a perfect teeny gold diamond band that costs less than $100. I'm sure that doesn't exist but these are quite cute and upon further review...I figure it doesn't matter a whole bunch to me how much it is....I just want something simple:)

Etsy - Sea Babe Jewelry $70

Fossil $45

Mimi So $21,000
this one's just in there cause it obviously has to be mine and I plan on selling 1/3 of our home in order to make it mine.

up top.

Dress UPDATE: I feel like things are finally coming together on the dress front. I went and saw my dress maker lady last night and we got a quote on doing my ceremony dress. I'm REALLY loving our ideas and for $200 or less I might have found the dress that I love enough to wear for bothhhh, yes...I said BOTH...the ceremony and reception. That would be amazing seeing as I've got enough dresses in the closet to be married 10 times over!!!;)

we also decided that yes. The whole 'dress shopping' thing is STILL not out of my system and according to my younger sister, Mallory who was married a year ago, it may Never be out of my system. Which is why I've given her the go ahead to try on a few while I try on a few!:) She tried to hide her excitement but I knowwww she's pumped;)
SO we're heading to a place a bit closer than I'd had initially planned because it's basically the idea of going with all the girls that has me craving ONE.MORE dress shopping experience. THEN and only then, I promise to lock it up!

because the dress situation may be officially, somewhat close to nearing an end and I've FINALLY got a picture in my head of what I mayyyyy look like that day...my brain's been on accessories over-freaking-load.

Trevi Fountain Headband $26
seriously...this could not be more perfect, except for the fact that I have no clue how people keep these things in place. I'd like my hair to be down and that might help but this is just fun and different and unique and I love the colors. Kinda drawing in my baby blue theme.

The Harlow Birdcage Veil $64
okay....okay...I know it's been done. Over done. Done soooo many times we almoooooost can't stand to see ONE more freaking birdcage veil. Buttttt I still love them:)

Black Rhinestone and Pearl Hair Pins $20
these might be my favorites because they're simple and classy and with the dress I'm envisioning...arg. Almost tooooo perfect. I mostly think they'd be the ones to work best on BOTH nights. OR I could go with the birdcage veil for the ceremony and then these lovelies for the reception. I think they're noticeable but still understated and as long as I take it easy on all the other accessories and just do sheer black tights and gorgeous black heels....OKAY. Getting away from the point here.
They're perfect. I shall order you and make you my own:)
