and the veil makes it for real. yo.

photo courtesy of Wed Web Info

okay...totally supposed to be sleeping. Promised Jacob I'd get into bed by 830PM.
- got into bed at 915PM
Promised Jacob I'd be out like a light by 9PM
- it's now 1030PM (SHITTTTT...didn't even realize it was that late till just now...SHITTTTT)

POINT: i got to try on my veil today...or what will be a veil, my veil...by July 2nd, when I'm scheduled to have a trial hair situation with the people that will be doing my mop top for the Ceremony.

it was amazing. I surely didn't tear up or anything. But I'm SO fucking giddy I could punch somebody!! FOR REAL! I've teared up watching my Best Friend, Gerd, put her veil on for the first time (and I'll expect the same from her when my day comes...86 days;). But it really does make it a bit more real.

POINTTTTTT: i'm getting a veil. I'm GETTING.MARRIED!!!!:)

the veil with all the love.

i began this post in love with her veil and ended it in love with those simple moments between her and him:)

i know that whether or not my photographer captures those...my sister, Courts and my mom will get them. It's all about those subtle moments between me and Jacob and I hope to have one to put on my night stand at the end of all of this:)

divorces...negative.

okay...going to start this by saying that no one gets married expecting it to end. No one that I know:) But for real...divorcing is starting to seem like THE thing to do. Or maybe it's just the year. BUT my most frequented source of information comes from PopSugar and I'm saddened to start this post with the news that TWO more Hollywood couples are announcing their divorces.
Yep. It's true.
Somewhere Jacob is rolling his eyes. I called him a while ago to inform him that one of our favorite actors, from one of our all time favorite TV shows was getting a divorce and once he realized what I was talking about...he says "holy shit..I thought you were talking about real-life.".
He doesn't give this as much thought as I;)

regardless of their situations...Me and Jacob are good to go:)

so back to our regularly scheduled wedding talk!

pretty pretty pretty invites. And they remind me of what we're having. Even the colors are almost spot on!

hello. Having this veil. I took my mom's to my seamstress and we're fixing that pretty up to work on me a second time around. Ah, how I love family and tradition:)

up top.

Dress UPDATE: I feel like things are finally coming together on the dress front. I went and saw my dress maker lady last night and we got a quote on doing my ceremony dress. I'm REALLY loving our ideas and for $200 or less I might have found the dress that I love enough to wear for bothhhh, yes...I said BOTH...the ceremony and reception. That would be amazing seeing as I've got enough dresses in the closet to be married 10 times over!!!;)

we also decided that yes. The whole 'dress shopping' thing is STILL not out of my system and according to my younger sister, Mallory who was married a year ago, it may Never be out of my system. Which is why I've given her the go ahead to try on a few while I try on a few!:) She tried to hide her excitement but I knowwww she's pumped;)
SO we're heading to a place a bit closer than I'd had initially planned because it's basically the idea of going with all the girls that has me craving ONE.MORE dress shopping experience. THEN and only then, I promise to lock it up!

because the dress situation may be officially, somewhat close to nearing an end and I've FINALLY got a picture in my head of what I mayyyyy look like that day...my brain's been on accessories over-freaking-load.

Trevi Fountain Headband $26
seriously...this could not be more perfect, except for the fact that I have no clue how people keep these things in place. I'd like my hair to be down and that might help but this is just fun and different and unique and I love the colors. Kinda drawing in my baby blue theme.

The Harlow Birdcage Veil $64
okay....okay...I know it's been done. Over done. Done soooo many times we almoooooost can't stand to see ONE more freaking birdcage veil. Buttttt I still love them:)

Black Rhinestone and Pearl Hair Pins $20
these might be my favorites because they're simple and classy and with the dress I'm envisioning...arg. Almost tooooo perfect. I mostly think they'd be the ones to work best on BOTH nights. OR I could go with the birdcage veil for the ceremony and then these lovelies for the reception. I think they're noticeable but still understated and as long as I take it easy on all the other accessories and just do sheer black tights and gorgeous black heels....OKAY. Getting away from the point here.
They're perfect. I shall order you and make you my own:)

the perfect touch.

these are absolutely perfffffect. I just love it. I wish I were more of a 'headband' person cause I'd for SURE be wearing one of the 2 in the bottom row, left side. Adorable.

i've always wanted something for my hair and these are (I HATE saying this) out of my price range...arg. But if I could even make something like these myself, which I think is completely possible....maybe waiting till after I settle on a dress would be the best idea.

WHICH reminds me...appointment with the 'dress maker lady' - her new name:) - tomorrow. I'll sleep better just knowing whether I can afford to have my dress made OR if it's not an option. I can't go on NOT knowing a minute longer!
