lovely elements.

today on Once Wed a lot has caught my eye:)
take a peek below to hear why....it caught my eye:)
i love the guys' suits. The colors are great and it again makes me realize that I have a love for ties. After a weekend spent at several stores looking at ties...and realizing how much ties cost...we've decided to do without. I'll miss that. So I shall turn to photos of people's wedding's who could afford ties. And I will be jealous.

again with the blue. I LOVE that blue.
Anthropologie
adorable, adorable invites. The colors initially drew me in and then the font, patterns and photos kept me there:)

damn all these pretty dresses to HELL! They're SOOOO pretty (googling new words for 'pretty'....) - charming and lovely! MUCH better;)

the perfect touch.

these are absolutely perfffffect. I just love it. I wish I were more of a 'headband' person cause I'd for SURE be wearing one of the 2 in the bottom row, left side. Adorable.

i've always wanted something for my hair and these are (I HATE saying this) out of my price range...arg. But if I could even make something like these myself, which I think is completely possible....maybe waiting till after I settle on a dress would be the best idea.

WHICH reminds me...appointment with the 'dress maker lady' - her new name:) - tomorrow. I'll sleep better just knowing whether I can afford to have my dress made OR if it's not an option. I can't go on NOT knowing a minute longer!

another oh, so pretty wedding. This is definitely a favorite I love the gray dresses on the ladies and especially how they're paired with alllllll super amazing shoes! Come.ON! Where did they find so many cute ones that are different, unique and SO perfectly colored?!
also finding that more and more I want to add a shrug/sweater/cardy to my wedding dress outfit. Frick. How will I ever know what I want? Will I ever stop looking IF I find the one? IS it possible that I could make the dress I bought for $100 THE ONE if I just found the right cardy to put over top? Okay...MUST.CALL.JACOB. But this is seeming to give me some hope that I may not have made anotherrrrr impulse buy. arg.

OR should I just find a short dress that I absolutely adore and just wear it both for the ceremony and reception?! I am having a freak out.!!!
I actually tried on the dress below last week while shopping with Jacob. Seriously, it looked adorable. He wasn't in love with the little puff on the shoulder or the long sleeves but all totally fixable....imagine mine more fitted and just all around better fitting than this picture. But it's SO cheap!!!! And I could see this working for both festivities!!!

do it yourself pretties.

something that always gets me excited is the idea of this wedding coming out exactly as planned. Looking like US!:) And all those little things are going to be what I think we love most in the end. Especially the thought that we put together all the bouquets. Even if the 'growing them' thing doesn't work out and we have to hit up a Farmer's Market the night before!!
Jacob making us a little cake, one to save so that we can break it out the night of our one year anniversary and eat it with milk while catching up on episodes of Dexter:)
have I mentioned lately how much I can't wait to marry the man of my dreams?! PS. That's YOU Jacob!!!!;)

frick. So after a teeny amount of blogging already this morning...I'm regretting buying that $100 dress. Double Frick. That is SOOO incredibly lame of me. I KNOW! Okay. It was only $100, Jacob promised we'd sell it and that I should not be giving this any thought or any amount of stressing.
I'm stressing. Stressing right now. My tummy hurts. Must.Call.Jacob.

but how cute and pretty is this picture. I love that it looks hippy and I love her flowy dress and her perfectly beachy hair and can I please get me her profile by my wedding?!

my big red obsession.

okay...i love freaking redheads. Most have a serious fear of the red (red-headed step children? and for me and Jacob.....a very special red-headed demon child;).
BUT I've overcome in order to post this beautiful picture.
And if I may add....I'm SUPER crazy over those earrings. I just recently made a purchase at AE...super sale....and the earrings I got are perfect for this look and I'm loving this look. SO I'm officially taking them out of the 'Maid' pile and putting them back into the 'The One That Matters Most' pile:)

PS. After browsing AE's jewelry...yes. Rockin'. Some great, great stuff on there for my ladies! Ladies being the girls in the wedding, not the ones that come home with me at night...those being my breasts. WOW. Just felt like I wasn't being clear enough there!!;)
