UP before...this may have actually been on Wednesday morning....a few days prior to the reception.

DOWN some of the cute details. Chalk board welcome sign and some directions for those in need of some assistance;)

UP those cocktail tables were one of my favorite touches. As well as the hanging flowers that were generously lent to me by my coworker! PS. check out the plywood floor. Pretty much saved the day...I was able to wear heels:)

DOWN we blew up photos of the two of us together as well as photos of us from the ceremony in La Crosse to share with our guests.

UP some tables on the dance floor. I just loved how they looked with all the white and the jars with wild flowers and small candles. It seriously couldn't have been more perfect for us:)

UP/DOWN jacob and I before our first dance. We were behind the DJ stand and it gave us a perfect view of the lights over the dance floor.

looking back on these photos...even after only being married for 11 days...makes me so sad. I know there's SO much more to come but I wish we could rewind and do it all over again. It was so us and so perfect:)

so I have 800 feet of streamers sitting on the counter right now. Yum. I've been hunting down ideas as to what to do with it. I'd like to do something in the tent, at the reception. BUT what...

- streamer ball?

- streamer sculpture?

hmmmm.

and then I see this dress and get completely side tracked:)

UP hello prettiest dress in the whole wide world. Seeing as I've already bought about 4 wedding dresses...what's one more?;)

and then I found the above reception photos...with the cloth ceiling. It may not look like much and you're probably wondering what this has to do with my 800 feet of streamers. BUT it helped me to figure it all out. Man. I love when something just clicks and I know it's what I want to do. Yep. Feels like I need to just cry a little and then move on with my night;)

and now we wait. Cause all these fantabulous ideas I have could go flying out the window when the Tent gets here and we see that none of them will work....HEY NOW...back to my positive thinking.

- the weather WILL be amazing

- guests WILL sign the guest book and take a favor home:)

- guests WILL particiPAR in the photo booth

- no one will take nasty poo's in the porta-potties:)

as seen in an older post...we decided to do some signs for the wedding. An added project but something that adds something cute to our reception site.

AKA. pointless and really helps no one find anything...but apparently I must have it;)

OLDER POST - regarding signage:)

so now what shall the signs say!? Must make sure they make sense to any and ALL guests:) Maybe throw some Spanish in there since we'll be visiting Spain...ah, the possibilities are endless:)

there's a wedding COMIN':)

we are LITERALLY only days away from getting MARRIED!!!!! I think we're both just so...I don't know...blown away by everything. Getting married...gifts...showers...more gifts...invites and friends and family and fun. And it's just been SO much fun. Seriously...beginning to end. Are there a few things that I would have changed...sure. BUT nothing at all that mattered. It was exactly what we wanted and I know everything to come will follow suit.

i'm just SO happy that we stuck with what felt right. That was kinda our motto through this whole process. Do what feels right for US and if it doesn't...change it. And it all came together. I seriously credit our naive attitudes for everything coming out just right. The whole time I'd just say "it'll work out. it'll be perfect. it has to be right. it WILL be right" and everything did and was. Right:)

nothing but pretty things happening here. Just when you think you have the most beautiful wedding in the entire universe...you see something like this and are brought back to reality. Hands down...lovely on all levels:)

after tomorrow I'll have a bit more of my own wedding detail to share with you. My lovely coworkers are throwing me a little Wedding Shower. It's times like this that I'm reminded of how great I have it where I work. Thoughtful, wonderful people:)

so many fantastic details happening here. All of which I have in my possession or could easily posses. My oh my. I love me some vintage crap and someday, when we have a bigger place, our home will morph from looking like a flea market to a place with some reallllly amazing details:)

DOWN love the letters and obviously it was meant to be...C - Casey S - Smith;) They, obviously, planned that knowing I'd eventually stumble upon this photo.

UP/DOWN just recently I bought a scale, very similar to this, for my bff's birthday! She'd been looking for one and I happen to come across one at a local thrift store. As well as the $60 vintage wedding purse of my dreams. I'm savin'.:)

DOWN i expect I'll be seeing some of this from all wedding related events and I'm glad for that. Click away people. Click.A.Way....and then send me a copy!!!!

i'm SO excited for the reception. I KNOW it's going to be perfect...especially because it's at my parent's land and I know they are really excited to make it perfect for us:)

below is the best barn wedding I've seen yet. And reminds me of how I'd like ours to turn out:

- lights outside

- dance floor outside...although after talking with my mom and sister, Pigg, we decided that it'd probably be best to keep the dance floor IN the building so that we don't split the event up too much. I'd hate to have NO one inside...especially since there will be food and drinks and a little photo booth and all that good stuff INside. SO thinking dance floor INside...some seating, tables and a fire outside:)

POINT: it's soooo purdy:)

UP/DOWN how precious are these freaking plates?! The gold trim....ahhh. Be still my heart:) They remind me of my very own newly started vintage plate collection. And I love them and I hold them and stare at them;) Seriously...I like um'.

UP lovin' the lights...can not WAIT to see our place lit up!:)

DOWN more chalk boards. Although it may seemmmm like I have about 100 chalkboards ready to be hung..I really don't. Hopefully, nothing will seem overboard. But I have collected a few frames that will work perfectly for chalkboards.

One is actually very similar to this one...I love it...may leave it be till we have a wedding photo to put in it...seems to pretty to cover in chalk:)

DOWN pretty flowers. I didn't need this picture to remind me that I made the right decision with the super inexpensive Farmer's Market wild flowers...but it sure is a friendly reminder:)

HLYYa glahglkhaklghlkgah = me excited. I'm OVER The MOON excited...I just can't wait...I can...but I can't WAIT for this wedding to be happening. AHglkhglahlkgahlga!!!!

And there will be pretty flowers and dancing and drinks and wine and friendly faces and family and pictures and the kiddo's and friends and...wait, no grapes;)

Grapes - I love them. Jacob won't let me have them at the wedding reception. Jacob won't let me have them EVER. Jacob won't let me have alcohol...a lot of alcohol;). 2 of my most favorite things. Both wreck me. Grrrrrr. WHYYYYYYYYY?. Why can't they be kinder to my body upon large consumption?!?!!?

UP i love this poofy skirt. Never thought I'd like them, let along rock them. But I do and I DID. But alas, not having one at my wedding. So don't anyone of you think about wearing one!!!;)

DOWN i love all these mini colored, amazingly straight lined envelopes. And IF our wedding reception decor didn't already require you to grab 3 ibuprofen in the large 'Ibuprofen Bowl' at the door and throw those back with a glass of wine upon entering...we'd probably do this too!

UP we will have a sign at the door thanking you all for coming and joining us in celebrating our marriage. We couldn't be happier to have everyone there and nothing we have done or do do (do do..he he;) could EVER express how important our family and friends are to us.

And besides that...we want you there to witness are vomit-inducing cuteness. There should be a sign at the door that says "drinking too much alcohol will not be what leaves you hunched over behind the porta-potties. Ridiculously Cute Couple inside - you've been warned".

DOWN a bump-it. Need I say more?! BUT in all seriousness...I want my veil to look exactly like this.

okay...I've calmed...that was seriously almost worth my Mac's life.
