because i'm in need of something lovely.

nothing but pretty things happening here. Just when you think you have the most beautiful wedding in the entire universe...you see something like this and are brought back to reality. Hands down...lovely on all levels:)

gorgeous hair and dress. Makes me excited to sit in a chair and let someone make me over:)

is it silly that I'd like some tat shots?!

i don't believe I've ever seen a more perfect table setting.

after tomorrow I'll have a bit more of my own wedding detail to share with you. My lovely coworkers are throwing me a little Wedding Shower. It's times like this that I'm reminded of how great I have it where I work. Thoughtful, wonderful people:)

hippy invites make me happy.

not sure what it is...but I'm IN love with this invite. I think I've said that before...about other invites...but obviously I was unaware that there was a better invite out there...waiting for me to find it:)

this inspiration, from Green Wedding Shoes, has got the wheels turning for our Wedding Reception Invites.

tights of all sorts.

this adorably vintage, care-free wedding is courtesy of Green Wedding Shoes.
and what I like about it:

UP i love their look. The look in the picture and just how they look together. BUT also loving her shoes!!

DOWN how cute are those maid colors together?! I just think it, first and foremost, shoes how anything goes! And those flowers are exactly as I'd like mine to look.

UP and again...more tights. And with yellow and blue...tights work with EVERYTHING!!!
Ladies: shall we throw around the idea of you guys wearing your tights on Thurs. night too?! Too much!!?!?

and the plan...may change.

green wedding shoes does it again. Plain amazing wedding and mostly there are a few specific details that I'm drooling over.

flowers are perfect in every way. And is that a daisy I spy....only my fav flower...EVER:)

the photography is flawless. Thank you Tyler Branch Photo.
not to mention her cute hair and love the eye makeup.

and the wardrobe. See now...I was dead set on having the girls wear 2 diff. outfits and now I see how fabulous they are making the black dresses work here. We could EASILY...super easily...transition from black dresses w/ cardy and flats on wedding day...TO something a bit edgier for the reception...black dresses - lose those cardy's biatches;) - patterned tights and some seriously dangerous heels!

now the wheels are turning again. Be afraid!

all about the greatness.

amazing wedding. Amazing photos. Amazing everything:)

how cute is that group photograph?! I'm not much for the posed shots and I'll actually be nixing the 'jumping' pose. But this...this I could handle!
oh, my lord. Googling 'little heart t's' online now!!!;) The kiddos have to wear these!
love love...Absolutely LOVE these little gloves. Googling those also. Taking the day off tomorrow to google the shiat out of this wedding:) Anddddddd now I want another tattoo:)

divorces...negative.

okay...going to start this by saying that no one gets married expecting it to end. No one that I know:) But for real...divorcing is starting to seem like THE thing to do. Or maybe it's just the year. BUT my most frequented source of information comes from PopSugar and I'm saddened to start this post with the news that TWO more Hollywood couples are announcing their divorces.
Yep. It's true.
Somewhere Jacob is rolling his eyes. I called him a while ago to inform him that one of our favorite actors, from one of our all time favorite TV shows was getting a divorce and once he realized what I was talking about...he says "holy shit..I thought you were talking about real-life.".
He doesn't give this as much thought as I;)

regardless of their situations...Me and Jacob are good to go:)

so back to our regularly scheduled wedding talk!

pretty pretty pretty invites. And they remind me of what we're having. Even the colors are almost spot on!

hello. Having this veil. I took my mom's to my seamstress and we're fixing that pretty up to work on me a second time around. Ah, how I love family and tradition:)

i love you for free.

this is the kinda 'different' I want my wedding to come together to look like. Enough said!!!
I've always been a fan of the party in the front, business in the back dress....but some ladies can just pull it off better than others and this lady does it better than others!

how great do those heels and that necklace look?! I love the entire look!

the details make me want to run home and come up with a knock-out logo to represent us. I currently have the kiddos working on that but none of them have perfected the cute mini hippo I've requested. Although my youngest niece, Austyn, sure does do an awesome 'mean pumpkin'.
But alas...I don't think that's quite what we are looking for...mean pumpkins don't scream "LOVE" to me...if anything they make me want to layer my ankles for fear of them being cut while getting into my car after a late shift at work...freaking freaky pumpkins!!!

take note of the poster hanging behind those chairs...completely random...but me and Jacob actually picked that quote a while back to be part of our ceremony. At the moment we just need to decide which of my sisters or his sister would like to read it...or who we will force to read it (Pigggg;).
In case you're not familiar with this quote...I'll get you up to speed:

"Love is the ultimate outlaw. It just won't adhere to any rules. The most any of us can do is to sign on as its accomplice. Instead of vowing to honor and obey, maybe we should swear to aid and abet. That would mean that security is out of the question. The words "make" and "stay" become inappropriate. My love for you has not strings attached. I love you for free." ~ Tom Robbins

i think it suits us:)
