i love a good 'quote'...and I keep a running tab of the ones that really get to me - cue the tears:). And a LOT of them get to me lately...maybe that baby inside me has something to do with all that extra 'emotion'?!:)

so true. soooo so true.

so I'm a bit bored and mostly cause Jacob's out of town and it's storming out and having the house to myself is fun...until it starts pouring rain and thundering like a freaking banchy and the dogs are a bit freaked and that's freaking ME out.

needless to say. I'm calming my nerves with a wine cooler (yuck) and the dogs are having a sleepover in my room and the doors are locked tight. I hate how my mind goes a mile a minute at times like this. When Jacob's not here to calm the nerves...things get a bit overwhelming.

Like how I was telling mom, before I headed home tonight, that I'm bound to be murdered tonight because Colby's due for a killing (yes...I know that's INSANE)...Pigg said "true...but we won't get that lucky". Biatch.

But she does have a valid point;)

POINT: the below quote that I just stumbled upon is basically the story of my life.

this is SO incredibly true. And I really do have Jacob to thank for helping me focus on what's important. Right here, right now.

this is the kinda 'different' I want my wedding to come together to look like. Enough said!!!

I've always been a fan of the party in the front, business in the back dress....but some ladies can just pull it off better than others and this lady does it better than others!

how great do those heels and that necklace look?! I love the entire look!

the details make me want to run home and come up with a knock-out logo to represent us. I currently have the kiddos working on that but none of them have perfected the cute mini hippo I've requested. Although my youngest niece, Austyn, sure does do an awesome 'mean pumpkin'.

But alas...I don't think that's quite what we are looking for...mean pumpkins don't scream "LOVE" to me...if anything they make me want to layer my ankles for fear of them being cut while getting into my car after a late shift at work...freaking freaky pumpkins!!!

take note of the poster hanging behind those chairs...completely random...but me and Jacob actually picked that quote a while back to be part of our ceremony. At the moment we just need to decide which of my sisters or his sister would like to read it...or who we will force to read it (Pigggg;).

okay...had a whole barfy paragraph of loveyness ready to go for you guys but couldn't bring myself to post it. I think we all know how I feel about Jacob at this point:)

but this little quote just gets me. I've been tearing up every time I read it and I'm not sure I even fully understand it. Go figure;)
But I do feel very strongly that this reminds me of Jacob:)

ahh. I love this kid. That's definitely all that needs to be said about that.

here we are on the day we buried my grams, my mom's mom. It was a sad day but fortunately we were able to find time for a few smiles and a good amount of laughs.

Funeral or not, we hold nothing back. Appropriate or SERIOUSLY not;) I think grams would have appreciated that about us:)

overall, we actually had fun and if a funeral does anything...it brings you all together. That's always a good thing:)

and are we sick because we used this as a perfect photo opportunity?! I mean...all in black, super classy...summer day. Yes. Exactly why I made others get in on it too;)

they're just amazing words to live by. Since being with J, I feel like there's more to everything. Arg. Sometimes it's hard to put into words. Like Skittles are not JUST Skittles anymore...they are the most amazing, lovable candy in ALL the land!!!! Being with J.....back with J, after such a time apart....it makes every day more clear. I hate to put my new way of seeing the world on J's shoulders but without him....Skittles would just be....Skittles:(

SIDE NOTE: I began this post with my cousin, Neen and her husband, T, in mind. They are currently scurrying around grabbing last minute things and making notes and packing kids and being crazy excited....and they very well should be beccccccauseeeee they are "leavinggggg ON a Jet Plane..." tomorrow afternoon for Italy!!!
