i'm guessing someday these kids of ours will be thanking me for choosing this guy to be their dad:) I like to think this decision was a pretty easy one after growing up with my dad. From him, I learned what I wanted in a family and in a father to my children someday.

someone who makes us laugh uncontrollably. Who just wakes up wanting to take a road trip randomly:) A guy who loves spending time in a tent out West. Someone who can scare the crap out of us and trick us into falling for it over and over:) Hardworking. Proud. Smart. Handsome. Kind. All those things and more:)

i'm beyond fortunate to have my dad and Jacob in my life. It's almost unfair to have gotten this lucky twice:)

my daddio turned 54 yesterday!!!!:) And he is the best. Good day;) 

 sometimes he just can't smile. It's weird...and hilarious! He's passed this trait onto me - the only fault;) And I've deemed it - The Chucky Face;)

i gotta say. My dad, for real, is the best. I know I annoy him with constant calls but seriously...I can't make a decision without his opinion! I just can't!!!!! And now that we've bought another fixer-upper...he's probably regretting ever having more than one kid;) But had he not had more than one...he would have never had me...which means he would have always had a gaping hole in his heart that Courts could not have filled - she's not the favorite;)

so basically....you're welcome dad. I'm happy to be here to make your life better;)

yep. January 6th marks a special day! My Dad's BIRTHDAY!!!!

i could say a lot of things to describe him (hilarious. inappropriate. ridiculous. funnnnnyyyy. beyond hardworking. giving. playful. fun. smart. surprising.)...but he is really just the best. The best grandpa, the best dad and above and beyond the best at anything he does and I couldn't feel luckier or prouder to have him. A great great dad:)

and then there is January 8th...which marks 5 months with another wonderful man in my life. How is it that one girl got so lucky to find so much awesomeness?!:)

Random Tidbit: our baby is due right around our 7 month Wedding Anniversary. Eeeeekkk:)

yesterday was Father's DAYYYYYY!!! Probably my dad's most favorite day of the ENTIRE year. I like to think it has something to do with the 4 amazing, beautiful lives that he helped bring into the world and how proud he is of each of us (blah blah blah) but I thinkkkk it may have more to do with the fact that this is one of 3 days (birthday, fday, Christmas) a year that he gets to indulge in a shopping trip to all his favorite stores AND food on us:)

UP that went into my belly. And I'm almost sure my thighs immediately ate it up and will store it there FOR.EVERRRRRR!!!!

it was a great day and even though we are lucky enough to spend a lot of time together regardless of holiday's and special occasions...it's still a great day to see dad let loose and be a total giddy kid...or more of a giddy kid than usual:)

33 yearssssss:)

these 2 crazy kids have been together for 33...THIRTY THREE years!!! Now a days...that doesn't seem very common!

i'm going to try to avoid getting too sappy but not sure I will succeed.

i feel very lucky to have such incredible parents. For reallll. They are more than I could have ever hoped for and have passed on to me all the qualities that make ME...so freaking special;)

Happy Anniversary to the most wonderful couple I know... Jacob and I look up to you guys in so many ways:)
