the Pigg be thirty.

THIRTY.

myself turning a year older. NO biggie. My siblings. My children. My familyyyyyy...that stings a little. How is my younger sister 30? 3.0? THIRTY!??!!? Seems impossible!

but...moving on...we.must.celebrate:)

a few weeks back - August 20 - a few friends, myself and Jacob and my sister and her husband, surprised Pigg where she bartends a few nights a week. We wanted to ring in her 30th year:) I'm so glad we did because we ended up having a really fantastic time and she was really surprised that we came! Ah, genuine surprises are the best!

jacob was more than happy to man the camera for the night - I don't remember asking;).

Overall, I think he did a great job and after sifting through them...I found some real gems!

we discovered that this group wasn't all about getting a 'good one' on the first take. So...try, try again;)

my sister is pretty neat. The toughest chic I know. Which is helpful to someone like me...who cries a lot and is mostly soft...about everything. But I've seen her cry...not many can claim that;) And she has 2 freaking kittens. Just so you know;)

i can't wait to see what her 30's has in store for her! Enjoy. Travel. There's so much good to come for this girl in year 30. I just know it:)

28 best watch it's back!!!

miss Pigg turns 28 TODAY!!! I'm SO excited for Pigg cause she has SO much ahead of her. She's surely checking some major things off the list for only being 28!!!

i like to think that so many good things started for me during the ages of 26-29. And this is what I keep telling Pigg. These are THE years:) SO enjoy. NO worries:)

pigg and I have had our differences....that's putting it mildly. But now I think we're closer than ever and able to look past the fact that we're COMPLETE Opposites. Seriously. In almost every way possible we don't see eye to eye.
BUT that's one of the things I love most about Pigg. Pigg's a killa. I'm a lova. And so, together, we're the perfect balance;)

miss piggy.

HAPPYYYYYYYYY Happy 27th to my SEEEEEEEEsterrrrrr!!!!

we call her Pigg. And she will kill you;)

I'm glad to have a sister that I know could verbally assault someone to the point of death (or at least tears:). Seeing as I like to hand out hugs like they're going out of style...she balances me perfectly!!

dad day.

yesterday was Father's DAYYYYYY!!! Probably my dad's most favorite day of the ENTIRE year. I like to think it has something to do with the 4 amazing, beautiful lives that he helped bring into the world and how proud he is of each of us (blah blah blah) but I thinkkkk it may have more to do with the fact that this is one of 3 days (birthday, fday, Christmas) a year that he gets to indulge in a shopping trip to all his favorite stores AND food on us:)

UP that went into my belly. And I'm almost sure my thighs immediately ate it up and will store it there FOR.EVERRRRRR!!!!

it was a great day and even though we are lucky enough to spend a lot of time together regardless of holiday's and special occasions...it's still a great day to see dad let loose and be a total giddy kid...or more of a giddy kid than usual:)

love you tons dad! I couldn't be prouder to call you my pa and I strive to make people laugh as much as you do:)

student/teacher.

last night we had our first Spanish Class! Ahhhhh! It was mucho bein...I think?;)

as you can see...this doesn't come naturally to me. It apparently does for Jacob. Can I hate him for being SUCH a great student!? Grrrrr;)

regardless. It's been SO fun. So far. Things I noted from our first class:

1/ already, clearly, found who the kiss asses are (there are a few...Jacob is one of them;)

2/ the woman behind me can SHUT IT!!! When the professor says 'repeat after me'...she clearly means...'repeat AFTER me'. Completely screws me up when she's saying it with the professor. I will blame this biatch if I fail miserably.

UP pigg's going to be a problem. Mostly cause she looks better in a class room than I do and she's very dark skinned. I don't know how...but I feel this will help her 'feel' more Mexican and in turn..speak their native tongue more easily;)

UP did I mention I love being in class with Jacob?! After passing this to him...I realize he takes class VERY seriously. I'm still waiting on a reply;)

Oh, and the only reason I wrote 'do you STILL love me' is because on the way to class he claimed that I ask too many questions...therefore annoying the SHIT out of him.;)

in conclusion. After 1.5 hours of Spanish....I have nothing solid to report, except that:

1/ Jacob finds me constant questions...annoying.

2/ unfortunately, annoying people also take Spanish (besides me;)

3/ our professor seems pretty cool...

4/ i'm more pumped for the honeymoon. Didn't think that was possible:)

me daily.

and finally my weekend!:)

i had 3 glorious days off. They were very unproductive days but a lot of clean fun was had!

UP/DOWN me and Jacob crossed something off our growing 'To Do' list.

We finished registering at Fleet Farm and besides having to go back and have them take off that $500 auger Jacob put on there...we're good.

yes. I allowed Jacob to register us for fishing poles.:)

yes. that registry gun was as big as my torso.

UP poe. I was actually trying to get a picture of him prior to this. D was laying on the floor sleeping and Poe (like a bird on a hippo's back;) was sleeping right on top of him!!!
