lukey may be a handful but he's the best boy!!! SO fun and just full of life! And that face...it can change emotion in a blink of the eye:)

all the children before him bow down...for they know not what 'energy' is. This kid...he came out smiling and hasn't stopped since...except for those few times a day when he's not smiling. Crying actually;)

regardless. I think we were due for a shake-up when he came about. And we got nothing short of that:)

a lot of my spare time is spent taking photos of these kiddo's right here. I need to put some of that photo-taking energy into taking pictures of everything else too...until then...:)

UP on rare occasions, I get to wake baby Drew up from a nap and those are the most snugly times and the times when her hair is the weirdest. She's so freaking adorable:) Here I am taking photos of her eating Lucky Charms, while I eat Lucky Charms:)

UP the biggest personalities in our niece/nephew bunch right here;) The boys saying bye to me through the window;)

last night, before the above photo was taken of Jacob and I at a Wedding Reception, my sister and I went and registered for this child...the one in me:)

after 2 hours and 2 dead register gun batteries...we got it. Unfortunately, everything was picked over because of the New Year's sales...SO I'll have to go back and re register in a few weeks. Which is totally fine. Then Jacob gets a chance to go (I haven't broken this 'good' news to him yet;).

i had prepared myself prior to going down. I thought that there was probably a pretty likely chance I would cry. Cause apparently that's what I do;) But it really wasn't so bad. As I saw other couples wandering around - registering for stupid stuff they wouldn't need;) - Mal lead me to exactly what I would need. Which made me feel WAY better about the idea of those other couples thinking I had no baby daddy;)

in the end, I learned that I need to work on my listening skills.

As Mal went on and on and onnnnnn about the need for this certain paste for something on the baby's body...me and Luke shot each other with the register gun;) When Jacob and I talked about the experience later, I was only able to tell him that babies need a lot of 'stuff' and there would have been NO way we could have registered on our own cause we would have printed off a list with candy and cute socks on it.

POINT: we are registered. And in no way does that mean we are any more prepared for this baby than before. Excited though?!...hell yes:)

i had 3 glorious days off. They were very unproductive days but a lot of clean fun was had!

UP/DOWN me and Jacob crossed something off our growing 'To Do' list.

We finished registering at Fleet Farm and besides having to go back and have them take off that $500 auger Jacob put on there...we're good.

yes. I allowed Jacob to register us for fishing poles.:)

yes. that registry gun was as big as my torso.

UP poe. I was actually trying to get a picture of him prior to this. D was laying on the floor sleeping and Poe (like a bird on a hippo's back;) was sleeping right on top of him!!!

UP/DOWN lukey. Me, Mal and the boys took a ride. This ride included an iPod and BWW's. YUM!!!

and he was forced to change out of his skeletor PJ's before we left;(

UP and the last stop of the weekend was to watch a band in a neighboring town. And I got to spend some time out of the house with Gerd:)

it was a wonderful weekend but SO nice to be home in bed by midnight both nights without having an sort of hangover! Mission accomplished!

he was helping mom, Mal, get a diaper and at one point we got the full-on shizzle in our faces. NO lie. We couldn't look away. I've never seen ANYTHING naked crawl up the side of a dresser and I'm afraid it wasn't as cool as I thought it'd be;)

here's a bit of our weekend. Whether working or not, we manage to keep ourselves quite busy!

UP me and Jacob after trying to play The Office board game. We thought we were fans but after trying to play that game...we are obviously not as big of fans as we'd thought!

UP/DOWN saturday was Peyton's basketball game! Another nail biter!!!

UP/DOWN saturday night was Luke's 3rd birthday party! I can't believe little Lukey is freaking 3 years old!?!?!? He had SO much fun...and I had so much fun. Too much fun. The wine kicked my ace and now my head is pounding it's reminder. Arg.

UP trying to get a good shot of ma and pa. We seriously laughed our asses off at the last one. We all like dad's intensity;)

UP/DOWN lots of kids. LOTS of kids. We actually ran some numbers and figured in a few years, there could be as many as 17-ish kids...all getting together at these functions. We even threw around ideas of renting a place to have these parties! That would be ridiculous but actually might be our reality eventually;)
