date night.

homer was 14 weeks on Tuesday! Which means we haven't really been alone with each other in 14 weeks!! We finallyyyyyy got to go on a much needed Date Night:) It wasn't as exciting as that movie - Date Night;) - but it was quality time with Jacob and I'll take any of that I can get:)

sorry for the overload of photos of US. We're not even close to as cute as Homer but we still like to get a few good ones for the books:) To show Homer that once upon a time...mom and dad were pretty hip;)

we went to BWW's and it was superrrrr special;) Crowded...loud and lots of TV's. Hmm. May try something a bit different next time...but the food was exactly what we needed. We just needed to stuff our faces and ENJOY doing so!!!!

we took a little drive after dinner...up and down a big hill. We live on the edge;)

In the 'old days', Date Nights consisted of Taco Bell and browsing a furniture store. We've come a long way;)

i thought being pregnant was a 'weird' experience. Now I feel like being a parent is pretty damn 'weird' too!? It's just crazy where life takes you but I'm so glad that life's given me Jacob and Homer:)

A great night was had and getting home to Homer was a great way to end it:)

the food made it good:)

mañana WAS better:)

today was a 100% turn around from last night. And I'll go into the details of that after Jacob and I get done watching this movie...he's patiently waiting for me to put this sneak peek up:)

if you weren't already aware, Barcelona is HUGE. BIG. MASSIVE. Lot o' lots of people. I thought Jacob only had road rage...apparently he has a bit of 'walking rage' too;) It was a bit hard to get through all the people but worth our time:)

and then there was the most incredible dinner we've had in a LONG time...try our entire honeymoon. I know people rave about the tapas...and we're going to try that tomorrow. But this Italian place we found. Shut the front door...it was perfection:)

friend (that's actually what I call her...she likes it:) made these adorable little place cards for our wedding dinner. I found something similar online and then we tweaked it a bit and this is what we came up with. AND on the softest, prettiest pale blue/grey paper you'd every lay your eyes and hands on:)

we did 3 different patterns. Cow - Chicken - Pig. Our family had 3 different dishes to choose from: Ribeye, Stuffed Chicken and Stuffed Pork. All amazing, by the way...just wish I'd been able to enjoy it more...you just don't have time and you're just not hungry...too excited to eat:)

whichever dish they chose was the card Courtney wrote their name on, which helped the servers decipher which dish should go where. Worked perfectly:)

yep. I pretty much loved how all the details came together and I'm glad for the ones that we were able to get done for the wedding and reception!!

we will be getting on an airplane in about 48 hours. Crossing the ocean. Going to another country for just over 3 weeks...by ourselves...without our family...BY.OURSELVES.

believe me...there are nerves.

to get my mind off of things I'm going to look back on a perfect day. A day I already miss...our Wedding:)

UP getting my makeup did prior to the Ceremony. An added expense, seeing as I forgot my entire make-up bag sitting at home:(

BUT it was a great treat and I have no regrets about that!

UP/DOWN the table set-up. Everything was quite simple...exactly what we wanted:)

UP we set-up our computer at the wedding dinner to play 'cocktail' tunes. I'm SO glad we did that:)

i'm still patiently waiting for our professional photos. I'm actually not too anxious and I think the vacation has a little something to do with that:)
