yes? Then you probably took a nap immediately after and didn't do shit the rest of the day. Anddddd we may have been separated at birth;)

ignore, if possible, the room itself. It's not been renovated. It knows not what it does.

i adore all these prints. I'm afraid our walls are going to be covered from floor to ceiling in the prints I've found:) This one speaks to me...reminds me of how I'd go anywhere with Jacob and it'd be the best place ever:)

i'm fortunate enough to be able to enjoy coffee with a few of my sisters a few mornings a week! I'm hoping we can move the party to my new house as soon as Spring shows it's face in WI and work a bit on some landscaping:):)

this little number reminded me of one of my favorite bloggers - ohdeardrea:) And because of her, I now want a sparkly party of my own someday:)

these prints instantly stole my heart. Especially the "The Mountains Are Calling and I Must Go". Jacob and I both have a love for being out West...like...BIG love. Being out there just feels like home to us:)

With the recent purchase of our new home, I'm definitely finding myself drawn to more things related to home decor and these are now on the top of the NEEDS List for the new house:)

another MUST have added to the list from Etsy. They're KILLING me over there at Etsy. Just got done making a small purchase, for a girl friend's bridal shower, this morning. Luckily it was under $6:)


but I may not be so lucky to keep it under $40 this time around. I've been craving a world map of any sort to get up on the wall. Me and Jacob have done a lot of traveling over the last year and I've gone some cool places well before that and I have a ridiculous urge to make sure I get that tacked onto the wall As.Soon.As.Possible! Why...I have no clue?! I'm sure our dogs and cat won't be impressed and I can guarantee our roommate won't be. Apparently he's more interested in dodging rent for 8 days. Grrrrr. Actually I'm not too mad about that. IF anything his rent is single handedly paying for our wedding. That REALLY weirds me out. Guess we'll have to buy him....a drink or something?!;)

my striped hallway.

i've decided to take on a small project at home...something SMALL that I can do myself in a matter of a few hours. I have been feeling very useless since most projects we've taken on are out of my hands or above my abilities....or maybe I'm telling myself this in hopes that it'll just get done while I'm gone to work one day.....this has not been the case.

BUT we have a teeny hallway in our home and I'm wanting to do something similar to the pictures below. I was first inspired by Jeremy and Kathleen. An adorable blog and even better hallway:)

my initial thought was to do black and cream. I'm not a huge fan of justttt black and white. So black and cream. BUT after seeing the gray/silver and white/cream in the above pictures...I'm swaying. The only reason I lean towards the black is because I LOVE black and there are a lot of neutrals and creams in the house already. SO going with something black might spice things up. And it's much less scary because it's a small, almost hidden space.

hmmmm. Again wanting to quit my job and just go home to sit and stare into space until a decision is made.

PS. I'll take some pictures soon and we'll get this situation rolling:)
