week 25:)

here we are. Another week closer to this baby. A real. life. BABY. We haven't figured out quite yet what we'll do with he or she when he or she gets here. But I know it's going to be super fun:)

i've been feeling so good. And the baby is moving all the time. Jacob has still not been able to get too many opportunities to feel the baby. MAYBE 3 times. This baby is stubborn and chooses not to move on command. Grrrr.
And today I was getting a bit paranoid nervous because I hadn't felt the baby move since Water Aerobics last night...but Jacob insisted that the baby was probably just a very good napper...like his mom;)
AND Jacob was right. Baby is up and at it tonight, making up for lost time;)

i've been told this is the 'honeymoon' phase of pregnancy and I 100% agree. Jacob and I have been in a honeymoon phase...going strong and annoyingly in love for over 3 years now and no plans to let up on that anytime soon. We come with barf bags for those of you in our presence;) SO it's been fitting that this pregnancy has been going so smoothly and that we're enjoying it as much as we have.

and on to the details of our week:)

UP dress - Target

due date:
may 10, 2012:)

boy or girl:
was just saying to someone:
ME:
"I feeeeellll like it's a girl. But I thinkkkkk it's a boy. Does that make sense?"

Innocent Target check-out girl...who only wanted to know if I wanted the pack of gum with me or in the bag:
"um...no."

names:
dad just texted (YES...he's a full.ON.texter now;) a suggestion.
DAD:
"How about the name Jonah???"

ME:
"Jonah's cute. I think he'd probably save whales or dolphins someday w/ a name like that. SO that's pretty cool."

belly:
the belly is my favorite:) IF there was any way to keep it like this for the remainder of the pregnancy...I WOULD!:)
ALSO. Belly button is moving out. It has been. It still is. And it will soon not be an 'in-e'. I have mixed feelings about this;)

weight:
like I said in my last post...just trying to test myself...exercise some self control and actually...literally...exercise;)

Water Aerobics has seriously been the best.thing.EVA!!! I love it so freaking much. I actually loved it so much last week that during class I almost cried. And this is how the conversation went in my head:
*jumping around in water*
"I'm feeling so FREAKING wonderful. This is just great. Here's my mom. Love her. Over there's Courts. Love her - not so much her hair. Does she HAVE to wear that swim cap. Lord;).
I feel good. I'm bouncing. I am one happy SOB.
Whoa...am I going to cry a little?! You best not cry. Every one's looking. While bouncing. OMG. This would be so awkward. Don't you DARE cry! Don't. *bounce* Don't. *bounce*"

luckily I was able to contain myself. For about 3 days. And then I had a serious cry. Andddd now all is good with the world. Sometimes this lady just gets E.MO.TION.AL. Period.

POINT: no news to report with the weight situation. I've just been feeling really good. Cut out fast food. Started Water Aerobics twice a week and just hoping for the best. I have a weigh-in in about 2 weeks and the GOAL (goallllll:) is to be at 163.
:)

wardrobe:
still some trial and error there. But again...this bump has been so fun to dress. SO I'm feeling really good about the clothing situation as of recent:)

baby buys:
i think I actually made it one full week without buying anything baby related. That's damn near a miracle. But that doesn't mean there are not a ton of things on my list. Take note:

Sophie the Giraffe - i knowwwww...they're super trendy. BUT I can see why:)
Vintage Brass Rocking Horse - pretty much will have at some point
Personalized Mother's Bracelets - would LOVE one of these with the baby's name letter:)
Minnetonka Moccasin - shut your pie hole...these are amazing!!!

yes. An expensive little list there folks:)

and from looking up the link for the dress I'm wearing in this post...I found another dress I want;) It probably won't suit me very well because I've got me some curves. But it looks pretty adorable and definitely doable with some layers...a cardy, belt...flops in the summer. Ahhhh. Looks so comfy:)

anddddd now I'm done:)

and no baby bump session, with Courts, would be complete without some kiddo's running through:) Still trying to get them to join in on a photo. Give the belly a hug or kiss. I've gotten no love so far;)

**for some reason the fonts and sizes are NOT cooperating tonight and before I throw my Mac against the wall....I GIVE IN!!!! falkhglkaghlkaghklaghlkagk**

bring glitter...and they will spill it:)

now that I'm pregnant...things like "Craft Night" and "Staying In" and "Lets Hang These Photos" and "Washing the Insides of Our Windows" have replaced things like "Black Out Drunk" and "Drinking A Lot" and "Leaving the House"...hmmm...I like this change;)

so on this Friday night....Craft Night it was:)

part of our project was to have ALL the kiddo's (8 of those guys!!) get their hands Mod Podged and then pressed on paper and then that was covered in glitter!:) They turned out really cute and I plan on using them at the baby shower for decor:)

UP/DOWN i brought the glitter and was SUPER excited about this. I mean, it's GOLD GLITTER for god's sake!! How cool and fun and NOT messy;) Ah yeah. There was glitter everywhere. EVERY.WHERE!!!
In my bra, in Drew Baby's mouth, on the floor, in our food, in our hair...2 rooms away...So glad we decided to do Craft Night at Courts house;)

UP/DOWN i also had the kids help me with some decor for our March Baby Shower:) A bit ahead of the game but I figured...why not:) AND having the kids help was reallllly wise. I'm SO uncrafty and they can't cut super straight either. SO if people think it's cute and kid-like...I won't point out to them that I actually did that part;)

UP/DOWN seriouslyyyyyy...I almost cry every time I look at these photos. Peyton (bear:) and Austyn (that's supposed to be a hippo and it's pretty much the BEST thing that's ever happened...Seriously. Freaking amazing!!!:) drew us these pictures for the baby! Jacob and I decided to frame them and we plan to hang them in the baby room cause they turned out so great. And as if they couldn't have looked any cuter, once in frames, they did:)

oh yeah....and there was Face Painting. Multiply paintings of the face, washing of the face and REpainting of the face. A.LOT of face painting:)

i should also mention that Courts was making some some Christmas things with the kids and they turned out really great!!! SO even with the glitter bomb going off and the HUGE mess I left the house in when I left;)..I'd say Craft Night was a HUGE success:)

ah, a lovely day:)

ah, I loves me some good tunes. Enjoy this great one as I show you a few recent photos that make my days lovely!:)

UP/DOWN nasher man. How this kid creates SO much beastlyness is beyond me...but 2 things are true.
1. He IS, in fact, a massive beast.
2. He IS a beast and then the next second he's not being a beast and you immediately forget that he was just fricking with your life:)

UP my god. I can hardly look at this picture without crying cause she is hard on the heart. As all the kids are. Dave and Courts are killingggg me with these amazing kids:)

it's what's up.

oddly enough...I still have a lot of things running through my mind about our honeymoon in Spain. LIKE: what will I pack, when will I pack, what will the shopping be like, will I be able to fit all the awesomeness that I find in Spain in my bag to bring home with me:) ecetera ecetera;)

and then I stumble upon this post:

why I love it:
- SO helpful when it comes time for me to pack
- everything looks SO easy
- this is EXACTLY the amount of stuff we want to be taking with us, no more!
- I LOVE her leather backpack. I want it.

i've actually been following their site for quite some time. I adore it. I adore them. AND I even emailed them with some questions regarding our own honeymoon a few months ago...and they replied. To ME...personally. MY EMAIL! And we're not just talking some standard response. They totally took the time to write this page long thing about the trip and things that could potentially help us on ours. Amazing and just kind:)

check them out. Gorgeous photography and amazing trip!

UP/DOWN this is SO totally going to be me and Jacob. I.Can't.WAIT!!!
oh, wait...my legs won't be bowed like hers. That would be Courts;)

cookie time.

hopefully I don't put you all to sleep with the overwhelming amount of 'family' stuff. But I have to warn you...it may be this way till after the holiday!!! There are SO many gatherings happening and Christmas hasn't even happened yet and then there's the New Year and a wedding with GREAT friends! SO there will be much more to come:)

cookie making is SO photogenic:)
even Drew got in on the action!!! She wasn't much for decorating...especially since she can't hold her own head up. But we let her lay there for a while;)

the result:)

sounds of the season.

tis' the Christmas Seasssssonnnn!!!!!

we've had a handful of concerts to attend and sometimes I think it's the kids that are actually busier than us. Busier being the key word because I think I could give them a run for their money in the excitement department! When it comes to Christmas...I'm EXCITED and this year especially because there's a ring-sized box under the tree and although I'm already engaged...the thought of jewelry still gets my blood pumping!

jacob is not one to buy jewelry often. He bought me a necklace over 5 years ago and then we broke up for 4 years...and it was THE perfect necklace. SO me. But of course I lost it! FRICK:( And next up was my engagement ring:) I'm not much for wearing jewelry, I'm quite a minimalist when it comes to accessories but that's why the few things I do wear are that much more special. They've all got a story and huge sentimental value:)

here are a few shots from the concert!!! The kids did so well and P's voice even carried so nicely so we were able to actually hear him in the crowd! SO proud:)

as you can see from the bottom left picture, we travel in packs;)
