birthday boy. P Dawg:)

here's the guy that started it all...12 years ago:)

Peyton.

i'd say he was the reason I feared having kids and yet, the only reason I thought I'd ever want kids:) He may have snuck up on all of us but he changed everything...and all of us...for the best:)

happy HAPPY birthday P.

annual party-ing:)

another year...another Smith Bros. Meat's Christmas Party:)

every year Smith Bros. - the family owned business that Jacob works for and will someday/maybe/we'll see/not sure what the deal is...be taking over with his brother and cousin...has their annual 'Christmas Party'.

i very much enjoy seeing my family and the amazing food and the orange juice and seven up were flowing...as were many other drinks that make you red in the cheeks and do, what we'll call, ridiculous 'silly' things. Ah, I could vomit on your faces about my disgust with the topic of 'drinking'. But I'll spare you. I once had my own struggles with drinking and never thought that our age group (late 20's-ish) would be the sober ones watching those twice our age get stupid 'silly'...it's a whole different perspective and an eye opener.

movinggggg on:)

some tidbits of our evening!!!

online <span class=
UP p showing off his hair growth progress:)

UP nasher being nasher:)

UP austyn made it long enough to eat...and then she passed out...and then the kids put wrapped gum in her mouth...which I took out...soon after taking a photo;)

UP/DOWN any opportunity to get a group Sista' photo...it's on:) These are 2 out of MANY!!!

PS. thank you mom for cutting me off RIGHT at the bump. Flattering...I think not;)

and then some photos of Jacob and I and baby...and another Smith Creeper;)

cute ones are usually followed by a few NOT so cute ones...that we weren't aware were being taken. Eeeeekkkkk;)

UP well helloooooo nap hair and double chin!!!

ah...the kid just loves me...and my ever growing bottom:):)

UP loving loving lovingggg my festive sweaterrrrrrr!:)

and that would be our night...or 1030PM;)

flashback:)

i miss our wedding...our wedding day...the night before...the morning of the day before...the morning of...yep. Pretty much every minute of it:)

we could NOT be happier that my nephew, Peyton, video tapped the ceremony. There are SO many perfect parts of the ceremony that he caught Perfectly and most likely by accident;) But I want to give him hugs every day for getting it all on film for us to have forever:)

i was just watching the end of the ceremony and questioning whether to post it or not. It's probably THE.BEST...hands down...most perfect part of the entire thing and Peyton captured it beautifully (cut to me crying right now thinking about how perfect it is:')...but I'm just not ready to share. It's SO...ours yet:) Someday I'm sure I will but for now I'll just save that for us:)

today's favorite post word: perfect (or some variation of that) - 5 times:)

tractors.icecream.brat.brat.brat.

the Steam Engine Show is a yearly festivity that my boy's family business participates in every year. They cook food....oh, so good food...for the show:)

and every year...I got out to the Flea Market and spend money on things that make our house a home (aka. stuffed with randomness, which I tell Jacob will look amazing once we live in something bigger than 900 sq. ft.:).

and now...photossssssss.

UP oh yeah...there are tractors there. Weird;)

UP hanging out with the kiddo's.

DOWN the crib that I wanted for our future/nonexistent baby. Why Jacob said no, I have no idea!!!!;) BUT he did promise that once there IS a baby in this belly...we'll go flea market till my face falls off for wonderful, one of a kind baby items. Hello...reason number 320759275790572 why I love Jacob so:)

UP bench that I bought...got her down to $60 from $75 but then I realized I needed streamers for the wedding and EVERYTHING that I thought was going to cost x amount of dollars has come in at at least $100 more than that. For real. SO I sold it to my mother:)

DOWN the boy hanging with the tractors:)

DOWN oh, how I love Flea Market jewelry:) Got a few gems over the weekend. Added to my gold bracelet collection.

UP/DOWN there was food food FOOD and I ate my fair share. Man...the ice cream is to DIE for. Maple Nut on a waffle cone....be still my heart:) And to be served by this raw ass. Yes. Totally worth it;)

UP the kids had some money of their own to spend and we put that towards some awesome sunglasses. Seriously...they looked freaking kick ass in these!!!:)

DOWN PONY RIDES!!!!! A.Dorable:)

good times were had by all. And the weather was amazing! Posts like these make me feel like we've actually been DOING things this summer. Not far from home...we'll save that for Spain;) But doing things none the less:)

PS. i think today was the last day of summer. Officially. LAME!!!!!

happy birthday to Pdoggy:)

this is coming a day late...who knew there would be SO much happening in freaking April!?
The birthdays, a funeral, anniversary, baby shower...blah blah blah!

AND...
Peyton's 11th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

him turning 11 is seriously hard on this girls emotions. I don't know whether to cry cause 11 years has gone by and I remember telling him at 3 to stop growing up...or be ridiculously happy because he's the best little boy (see how he'll always be a little boy to me:) that's there's ever been. Seriously.

courts, over at Buffaloes and Butterflies, does an amazing job of telling you exactly what this kid means to us. P may have been a surprise but he quickly made me realize that our lives were never complete without him and would never be the same again, in the best way possible.

St. Patty's T:)

and today is St. Patrick's Day! A big day for a lot of those green lovers out there (nae;).
Hope everyone is enjoying this festive holiday!
I on the other hand am doing some blogging, drinking obscene amounts of chocolate milk and about to do some crunches before heading to bed. CA-razzzzyyyy;)

enjoy some festiveness from the kiddo's:)

UP/DOWN nasher man rocking out a St. Patty's crown...below is his mad face...he makes that a LOT. This one isn't even really that good. This is actually nice compared to his REAL mad face;)

UP t bug lovin' the green wig:)

UP a has it all going on. Feather boa and green crown!! The ultimate princess:)

UP p dog annoyed that I'm making him wear the wig for a picture and also too busy downloading games to my iPhone;)

sorry...no pictures of Lia. She couldn't be bothered with silly St. Patty's Day nonsense...she was too busy setting up elaborate leprechaun traps...one even involved a trail of Lucky Charm marshmallows! ADORABLE!!!
Where Courts is going to come up with a leprechaun, I have no clue;)

and last but not least...just some fun with the camera! T bug and his wig go wild!!!

he got gameeeeee.

recently I was able to go to one of my oldest nephew, Peyton's, basketball games!

this kid rocks. That's all there is to it. There's not a lot that he can't do...and if he can't do it, he can probably come to me and Jacob's house and do it!!;) I kid Courts...promise on our sleepovers he doesn't eat Sherbert ice cream before dinner with me, while waiting for Jacob to get his ass home and make our dinner, and then play Xbox (lots AND lots of killing...I even had to leave the room after a while;) till he literallllyyyy complained of some vision changes and then we eachhhh ate Jacob's weight in pizza and chocolate milk (the manually mixed kinda..get real;) and then throw in Hangover...cause the kid has to learn sometime...right?!

good times. Good times:)

yep. No clue who the 'weird kid' was. And yes, I did refer to him as the 'weird kid' when I was telling Mal to 'just take the picture with the weird kid too'.
FAAAaaaannnnNNNNNSSSSSSsssssss (my interpretation of the wave;)
some enjoyed the game more than others!

austyn. What's a basketball game without your prettiest pink tutu?!
lia bear. Man this chick is hilarious.
I love to cheer. Not obnoxious "COME ONNNNNNNN, PICK IT UP... CONCENTRATE... WHERE'S YOUR HEAD AT REFFFFF!!!!!"....but more like "Come ON Buddy...you can do it!! Keep it up!!! SO close!!"....Lia found that this was quite embarrassing and so I thought...what would my dad do in a situation like this?! Hmmm...

FLASH BACK - my 7th grade D.A.R.E Graduation...the only kid who gets a standing ovation...with a slow clap...from her dad....THIS KID...Love you too dad;)

SO I channel my dad and yell "LETS GO LIAAAAAAAAA"....believe me...someday she'll thank me;)

the games were intense and I'm sad that because I work every other weekend I'm unable to be there for the majority of the games. But they are so worth it when I'm there:)
