the word 'NO' and my son's mouth have met and officially become BFF. We're at a crossroads. Will he turn to the dark side or will we suffer through endless timeouts and come out on the other side with a 'good boy'? I'll report back in 20 years;)

we went over to Court's for a cookout the other day and just cause it's all about the memories...I had Courts get a quick photo of our little family:)

every year Smith Bros. - the family owned business that Jacob works for and will someday/maybe/we'll see/not sure what the deal is...be taking over with his brother and cousin...has their annual 'Christmas Party'.

i very much enjoy seeing my family and the amazing food and the orange juice and seven up were flowing...as were many other drinks that make you red in the cheeks and do, what we'll call, ridiculous 'silly' things. Ah, I could vomit on your faces about my disgust with the topic of 'drinking'. But I'll spare you. I once had my own struggles with drinking and never thought that our age group (late 20's-ish) would be the sober ones watching those twice our age get stupid 'silly'...it's a whole different perspective and an eye opener.

i was misinformed...

but I'm surely not hating it. I approve actually...I've gotten some horrendous ones in the past (as I'm sure you can all relate?!) and so this...this I'll take!

and can you believe this ID from 2003!? OMG. I was such a freaking hard-ace! I love it! It's impossible to believe that was 8 years ago and that I've gained THAT much weight;) Although, it was nice to finally update those totals:) I was living a lie (a 28lb. lie;).

POINT: i'm officially a Smith. It's all changed...the bank, the paper work, the insurance, the pay stub, the email (work), the passwords...OMG. The name change process was JUST as annoying as I'd imagined it would be!

and today is St. Patrick's Day! A big day for a lot of those green lovers out there (nae;).

I on the other hand am doing some blogging, drinking obscene amounts of chocolate milk and about to do some crunches before heading to bed. CA-razzzzyyyy;)

Where Courts is going to come up with a leprechaun, I have no clue;)

little beautiful, healthy baby Drew Elise Smith is HERE!!!! She arrived on Friday, December 10th. JUST in time to make me $26 richer. After 7 nieces and nephews...I finally won the 8th baby pool!;)


all is well at the Smith household and I will surely have more soon but off to work on this cold Tuesday morning!:)


PS. This is doing nothing for my baby fever...yes...I may have what some people call baby fever...WAIT. NO, I don't. I have 'I think I want baby, yes, in fact...if this were to happen..actually, we may intend for this to happen. AFTER we're happily married...for at least a few hours:)'.

drew, you are a very lucky girl. Not only did you find your way to amazing parents and siblings. BUT you have a lot of others out there who love you too much already. Can't wait to see where time takes us:)
